Exodus 25.
Terumah:
Exodus
25.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Offerings for the Sanctuary. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, that they
take an offering for me. From everyone whose heart makes him willing you shall
take my offering.
3 This is the offering which you shall take
from them: gold, silver, brass,
4 blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats’
hair,
5 rams’ skins dyed red, sea cow hides, acacia
wood,
6 oil for the light, spices for the anointing
oil and for the sweet incense,
7 onyx stones, and stones to be set for the
ephod and for the breastplate.
8 Let them make me a sanctuary, that I may
dwell among them.
9 According to all that I show you, the pattern
of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all of its furniture, even so you shall
make it.
10 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Ark of the Testimony. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
“They shall make an ark of acacia
wood. Its length shall be two and a half cubits, its breadth a cubit and a
half, and a cubit and a half its height.
11 You shall overlay it with pure gold. You
shall overlay it inside and outside, and you shall make a gold molding around
it.
12 You shall cast four rings of gold for it,
and put them in its four feet. Two rings shall be on the one side of it, and
two rings on the other side of it.
13 You shall make poles of acacia wood, and
overlay them with gold.
14 You shall put the poles into the rings on
the sides of the ark to carry the ark.
15 The poles shall be in the rings of the ark.
They shall not be taken from it.
16 You shall put the testimony which I shall
give you into the ark.
17 You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold.
Two and a half cubits shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth.
18 You shall make two cherubim of hammered
gold. You shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.
19 Make one cherub at the one end, and one
cherub at the other end. You shall make the cherubim on its two ends of one
piece with the mercy seat.
20 The cherubim shall spread out their wings
upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one
another. The faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.
21 You shall put the mercy seat on top of the
ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I will give you.
22 There I will meet with you, and I will tell
you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the
ark of the testimony, all that I command you for the children of Israel.
23 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Table for the Showbread. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
“You shall make a table of acacia
wood. Two cubits shall be its length, and a cubit its breadth, and one and a
half cubits its height.
24 You shall overlay it with pure gold, and
make a gold molding around it.
25 You shall make a rim of a handbreadth around
it. You shall make a golden molding on its rim around it.
26 You shall make four rings of gold for it,
and put the rings in the four corners that are on its four feet.
27 the rings shall be close to the rim, for
places for the poles to carry the table.
28 You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and
overlay them with gold, that the table may be carried with them.
29 You shall make its dishes, its spoons, its
ladles, and its bowls to pour out offerings with. You shall make them of pure
gold.
30 You shall set bread of the presence on the
table before me always.
31 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Gold Lampstand. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
“You shall make a menorah of pure
gold. Of hammered work shall the menorah be made, even its base, its shaft, its
cups, its buds, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it.
32 There shall be six branches going out of its
sides: three branches of the menorah out of its one side, and three branches of
the menorah out of its other side;
33 three cups made like almond blossoms in one
branch, a bud and a flower; and three cups made like almond blossoms in the
other branch, a bud and a flower, so for the six branches going out of the
menorah;
34 and in the menorah four cups made like
almond blossoms, its buds and its flowers;
35 and a bud under two branches of one piece
with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two
branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the menorah.
36 Their buds and their branches shall be of
one piece with it, all of it one beaten work of pure gold.
37 You shall make its lamps seven, and they

Romans 5.
Terumah
(continued):
Romans

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Faith Triumphs in Trouble. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Being therefore justified by
faith, we have peace with ELOHIM through our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah;
2 through whom we also have our access by faith
into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of ELOHIM!
3 Not only this, but we also rejoice in our
sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance;
4 and perseverance, proven character; and
proven character, hope:
5 and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because
ELOHIM’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who
was given to us.
6 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Messiah in Our Place. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
For while we were yet weak, at the
right time Messiah died for the ungodly.
7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man.
Yet perhaps for a righteous person someone would even dare to die.
8 But ELOHIM commends his own love toward us,
in that while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his
blood, we will be saved from ELOHIM’s wrath through him.
10 For if, while we were enemies, we were
reconciled to ELOHIM through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled,
we will be saved by his life.
11 Not only so, but we also rejoice in ELOHIM
through our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah, through whom we have now received the
reconciliation.
12 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Death in Adam, Life in Messiah.
.\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Therefore, as sin entered into the
world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men,
because all sinned.
13 For until the Torah (teaching and
instruction), sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no
Torah (teaching and instruction).
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until
Moses, even over those whose sins weren’t like Adam’s disobedience, who is a
foreshadowing of him who was to come.
15 But the free gift isn’t like the trespass.
For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of
ELOHIM, and the gift by the grace of the one man, YESHUA the Messiah, abound to
the many.
16 The gift is not as through one who sinned:
for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many
trespasses to justification.
17 For if by the trespass of the one, death
reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of
grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, YESHUA
the Messiah.
18 So then as through one trespass, all men
were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were
justified to life.
19 For as through the one man’s disobedience
many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be
made righteous.
20 The Torah (teaching and instruction) came in
besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded
more exceedingly;
21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace
might reign through righteousness to eternal life through YESHUA the Messiah
our ADONAI.

Exodus 26.
Exodus
26.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Tabernacle. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
“Moreover you shall make the
tabernacle with ten curtains; of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and
scarlet, with cherubim. The work of the skillful workman you shall make them.
2 The length of each curtain shall be
twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits: all the
curtains shall have one measure.
3 Five curtains shall be coupled together one
to another; and the other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
4 You shall make loops of blue on the edge of
the one curtain from the edge in the coupling; and likewise you shall make in
the edge of the curtain that is outmost in the second coupling.
5 You shall make fifty loops in the one
curtain, and you shall make fifty loops in the edge of the curtain that is in
the second coupling. The loops shall be opposite one to another.
6 You shall make fifty clasps of gold, and
couple the curtains one to another with the clasps: and the tabernacle shall be
a unit.
7 “You shall make curtains of goats’ hair for a
covering over the tabernacle. You shall make them eleven curtains.
8 The length of each curtain shall be thirty
cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits: the eleven curtains shall
have one measure.
9 You shall couple five curtains by themselves,
and six curtains by themselves, and shall double over the sixth curtain in the
forefront of the tent.
10 You shall make fifty loops on the edge of
the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops on the edge of
the curtain which is outmost in the second coupling.
11 You shall make fifty clasps of brass, and
put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be
one.
12 The overhanging part that remains of the
curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back
of the tabernacle.
13 The cubit on the one side, and the cubit on
the other side, of that which remains in the length of the curtains of the
tent, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that
side, to cover it.
14 You shall make a covering for the tent of
rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of sea cow hides above.
15 “You shall make the boards for the
tabernacle of acacia wood, standing up.
16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board,
and one and a half cubits the breadth of each board.
17 There shall be two tenons in each board,
joined to one another: thus you shall make for all the boards of the
tabernacle.
18 You shall make the boards for the
tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side southward.
19 You shall make forty sockets of silver under
the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for its two tenons, and two
sockets under another board for its two tenons.
20 For the second side of the tabernacle, on
the north side, twenty boards,
21 and their forty sockets of silver; two
sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
22 For the far part of the tabernacle westward
you shall make six boards.
23 You shall make two boards for the corners of
the tabernacle in the far part.
24 They shall be double beneath, and in the
same way they shall be whole to its top to one ring: thus shall it be for them
both; they shall be for the two corners.
25 There shall be eight boards, and their
sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two
sockets under another board.
26 “You shall make bars of acacia wood: five
for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
27 and five bars for the boards of the other
side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the
tabernacle, for the far part westward.
28 The middle bar in the midst of the boards
shall pass through from end to end.
29 You shall overlay the boards with gold, and
make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and you shall overlay the
bars with gold.
30 You shall set up the tabernacle according to
the way that it was shown to you on the mountain.
31 “You shall make a veil of blue, and purple,
and scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cherubim. The work of the skillful
workman shall it be made.
32 You shall hang it on four pillars of acacia
overlaid with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, on four sockets of silver.
33 You shall hang up the veil under the clasps,
and shall bring the ark of the testimony in there within the veil: and the veil
shall separate the holy place from the most holy for you.
34 You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of
the testimony in the most holy place.
35 You shall set the table outside the veil, and
the menorah over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the
south: and you shall put the table on the north side.
36 “You shall make a screen for the door of the
Tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the
embroiderer.
37 You shall make for the screen five pillars
of acacia, and overlay them with gold: their hooks shall be of gold: and you
shall cast five sockets of brass for them.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Dead to Sin, Alive to ELOHIM. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
What shall we say then? Shall we
continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 May it never be! We who died to sin, how
could we live in it any longer?
3 Or don’t you know that all we who were
immersed into Messiah YESHUA were immersed into his death?
4 We were buried therefore with him through
immersion to death, that just like Messiah was raised from the dead through the
glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have become united with him in the
likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;
6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified
with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no
longer be in bondage to sin.
7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.
8 But if we died with Messiah, we believe that
we will also live with him;
9 knowing that Messiah, being raised from the
dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him!
10 For the death that he died, he died to sin
one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to ELOHIM!
11 Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to
sin, but alive to ELOHIM in Messiah YESHUA our ADONAI.
12 Therefore don’t let sin reign in your mortal
body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
13 Neither present_ your
members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to
ELOHIM, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of
righteousness to ELOHIM!
14 For sin will not have dominion over you. For
you are not under Torah (teaching and instruction), but under grace.
15 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. From Slaves of Sin to Slaves of
ELOHIM. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
What then? Shall we sin, because
we are not under Torah (teaching and instruction), but under grace? May it
never be!
16 Don’t you know that to whom you present
yourselves as servants to obedience, his servants you are whom you obey;
whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
17 But thanks be to ELOHIM, that, whereas you
were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of
teaching whereunto you were delivered.
18 Being made free from sin, you became
bondservants of righteousness.
19 I speak in human terms because of the
weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to
uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members
as servants to righteousness for sanctification.
20 For when you were servants of sin, you were
free in regard to righteousness.
21 What fruit then did you have at that time in
the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
22 But now, being made free from sin, and
having become servants of ELOHIM, you have your fruit of sanctification, and
the result of eternal life.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift
of ELOHIM is eternal life in Messiah YESHUA our ADONAI.

18 The length of the court shall be one hundred

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Freed or not from the Torah. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Or don’t you know, brothers (for I
speak to men who know the Torah (teaching and instruction)), that the Torah
(teaching and instruction) has dominion over a man for as long as he lives?
2 For the woman that has a husband is bound by
Torah (teaching and instruction) to the husband while he lives, but if the
husband dies, she is discharged from the Torah (teaching and instruction) of
the husband.
3 So then if, while the husband lives, she is
joined to another man, she would be called an adulteress. But if the husband
dies, she is free from the Torah (teaching and instruction), so that she is no
adulteress, though she is joined to another man.
4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made
dead to the Torah (teaching and instruction) through the body of Messiah, that
you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we
might bring forth fruit to ELOHIM!
5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful
passions which were through the Torah (teaching and instruction), worked in our
members to bring forth fruit to death.
6 But now we have been discharged from the
Torah (teaching and instruction), having died to that in which we were held; so
that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.
7 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Sin's Advantage in the Torah. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
What shall we say then? Is the
Torah (teaching and instruction) sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have
known sin, except through the Torah (teaching and instruction). For I wouldn’t
have known coveting, unless the Torah (teaching and instruction) had said, “You
shall not covet.”
8 But sin, finding occasion through the
commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the Torah
(teaching and instruction), sin is dead.
9 I was alive apart from the Torah (teaching
and instruction) once, but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10 The commandment, which was for life, this I
found to be for death;
11 for sin, finding occasion through the
commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me.
12 Therefore the Torah (teaching and
instruction) indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.
13 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Torah Cannot Save from Sin. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Did then that which is good become
death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by
working death to me through that which is good; that through the commandment
sin might become exceeding sinful.
14 For we know that the Torah (teaching and
instruction) is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin.
15 For I don’t know what I am doing. For I
don’t practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do.
16 But if what I don’t desire, that I do, I
consent to the Torah (teaching and instruction) that it is good.
17 So now it is no more I that do it, but sin
which dwells in me.
18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh,
dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don’t find it doing
that which is good.
19 For the good which I desire, I don’t do; but
the evil which I don’t desire, that I practice.
20 But if what I don’t desire, that I do, it is
no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.
21 I find then the Torah (teaching and
instruction), that, to me, while I desire to do good, evil is present.
22 For I delight in ELOHIM’s Torah (teaching
and instruction) after the inward man,
23 but I see a different Torah (teaching and
instruction) in my members, warring against the Torah (teaching and
instruction) of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the Torah
(teaching and instruction) of sin which is in my members.
24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver
me out of the body of this death?
25 I thank ELOHIM through YESHUA the Messiah,
our ADONAI! So then with the mind, I myself serve ELOHIM’s Torah (teaching and
instruction), but with the flesh, the sin’s law.

Haftarah:
1 Kings 5:12-end,6:1-13. (JPS=1Ki 5:26-6:13).
12 YHWH gave Solomon wisdom, as he
promised him; and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made
a treaty together.
13 King Solomon raised a levy out of all
Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men.
14 He sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a
month by courses; a month they were in Lebanon, and two months at home; and
Adoniram was over the men subject to forced labor.
15 Solomon had seventy thousand who bore
burdens, and eighty thousand who were stone cutters in the mountains;
16 besides Solomon’s chief officers who were
over the work, three thousand and three hundred, who bore rule over the people
who labored in the work.
17 The king commanded, and they cut out great
stones, costly stones, to lay the foundation of the house with worked stone.
18 Solomon’s builders and Hiram’s builders and
the Gebalites cut them, and prepared the timber and the stones to build the
house.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Solomon Builds the Temple. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
It happened in the four hundred
and eightieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of
Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Ziv,
which is the second month, that he began to build the house of YHWH!
2 The house which king Solomon built for YHWH,
its length was sixty cubits, and its breadth twenty, and its height thirty
cubits.
3 The porch before the temple of the house,
twenty cubits was its length, according to the breadth of the house. Ten cubits
was its breadth before the house.
4 For the house he made windows of fixed
lattice work.
5 Against the wall of the house he built
stories all around, against the walls of the house all around, both of the
temple and of the oracle; and he made side rooms all around.
6 The nethermost story was five cubits broad,
and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad; for
on the outside he made offsets in the wall of the house all around, that the
beams should not have hold in the walls of the house.
7 The house, when it was in building, was built
of stone prepared at the quarry; and there was neither hammer nor axe nor any
tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
8 The door for the middle side rooms was in the
right side of the house: and they went up by winding stairs into the middle
story, and out of the middle into the third.
9 So he built the house, and finished it; and
he covered the house with beams and planks of cedar.
10 He built the stories against all the house,
each five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.
11 The word of YHWH came to Solomon, saying,
12 “Concerning this house which you are
building, if you will walk in my statutes, and execute my ordinances, and keep
all my commandments to walk in them; then will I establish my word with you,
which I spoke to David your father.
13 I will dwell among the children of Israel,
and will not forsake my people Israel.”

3 For what the Torah (teaching and instruction)

6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the
mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile
towards ELOHIM; for it is not subject to ELOHIM’s Torah (teaching and
instruction), neither indeed can it be.
8 Those who are in the flesh can’t please
ELOHIM!
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the
Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of ELOHIM dwells in you. But if any man
doesn’t have the Spirit of Messiah, he is not his.
10 If Messiah is in you, the body is dead
because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up
YESHUA from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Messiah YESHUA from the
dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in
you.
12 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Sonship Through the Spirit. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
So then, brothers, we are debtors,
not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if you live after the flesh, you must
die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of
ELOHIM, these are children of ELOHIM!
15 For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage
again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba!
Father!”
16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit
that we are children of ELOHIM;
17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of
ELOHIM, and joint heirs with Messiah; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may
also be glorified with him.
18 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. From Suffering to Glory. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
For I consider that the sufferings
of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be
revealed toward us.
19 For the creation waits with eager
expectation for the children of ELOHIM to be revealed.
20 For the creation was subjected to vanity,
not of its own will, but because of him who subjected it, in hope
21 that the creation itself also will be
delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the
children of ELOHIM!
22 For we know that the whole creation groans
and travails in pain together until now.
23 Not only so, but ourselves also, who have
the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves,
waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.
24 For we were saved in hope, but hope that is
seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees?
25 But if we hope for that which we don’t see,
we wait for it with patience.
26 In the same way, the Spirit also helps our
weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself
makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.
27 He who searches the hearts knows what is on
the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the holy ones according to
ELOHIM!
28 We know that all things work together for
good for those who love ELOHIM, to those who are called according to his
purpose.
29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to
be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many
brothers.
30 Whom he predestined, those he also called.
Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also
glorified.
31 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. ELOHIM's Everlasting Love. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
What then shall we say about these
things? If ELOHIM is for us, who can be against us?
32 He who didn’t spare his own Son, but
delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all
things?
33 Who could bring a charge against ELOHIM’s
chosen ones? It is ELOHIM who justifies.
34 Who is he who condemns? It is Messiah who
died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of
ELOHIM, who also makes intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of
Messiah? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness,
or peril, or sword?
36 Even as it is written, “For your sake we are
killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37 No, in all these things, we are more than
conquerors through him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor
life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come,
nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created
thing, will be able to separate us from the love of ELOHIM, which is in Messiah
YESHUA our ADONAI!
