Sunday - Day 1 before Shabbat - Parasha Tzav - Command.

Leviticus 6:8-30.

Leviticus 6:8-30. (JPS=Lev 6:1-23).

8 . The Teaching and Instruction of the Burnt Offering. .

YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
9 “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the Torah-teaching of the burnt offering: the burnt offering shall be on the hearth on the altar all night until the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it.
10 The priest shall put on his linen garment, and he shall put on his linen breeches upon his body; and he shall remove the ashes from where the fire has consumed the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
11 He shall take off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.
12 The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it, it shall not go out; and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning: and he shall lay the burnt offering in order upon it, and shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.
13 Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.

14 . The Teaching and Instruction of the Grain Offering. .

“‘This is the Torah-instruction of the meal offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before YHWH, before the altar.
15 He shall take from there his handful of the fine flour of the meal offering, and of its oil, and all the frankincense which is on the meal offering, and shall burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma, as its memorial, to YHWH!
16 That which is left of it Aaron and his sons shall eat. It shall be eaten without yeast in a holy place. They shall eat it in the court of the Tent of Meeting.
17 It shall not be baked with yeast. I have given it as their portion of my offerings made by fire. It is most holy, as the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.
18 Every male among the children of Aaron shall eat of it, as their portion forever throughout your generations, from the offerings of YHWH made by fire. Whoever touches them shall be holy.’”
19 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
20 “This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer to YHWH in the day when he is anointed: the tenth part of an efah of fine flour for a meal offering perpetually, half of it in the morning, and half of it in the evening.
21 It shall be made with oil in a griddle. When it is soaked, you shall bring it in. You shall offer the meal offering in baked pieces for a pleasant aroma to YHWH!
22 The anointed priest that will be in his place from among his sons shall offer it. By a statute forever, it shall be wholly burnt to YHWH!
23 Every meal offering of a priest shall be wholly burned. It shall not be eaten.”

24 . The Teaching and Instruction of the Sin Offering. .

YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
25 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is the Torah-instruction of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is killed, the sin offering shall be killed before YHWH! It is most holy.
26 The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. It shall be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the Tent of Meeting.
27 Whatever shall touch its flesh shall be holy. When there is any of its blood sprinkled on a garment, you shall wash that on which it was sprinkled in a holy place.
28 But the earthen vessel in which it is boiled shall be broken; and if it is boiled in a bronze vessel, it shall be scoured, and rinsed in water.
29 Every male among the priests shall eat of it: it is most holy.
30 No sin offering, of which any of the blood is brought into the Tent of Meeting to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be eaten: it shall be burned with fire.

Monday - Day 2 before Shabbat - Parasha Tzav - Command.

Leviticus 7, 2 Corinthians 1.

Leviticus 7.

1 . The Teaching and Instruction of the Trespass Offering. .

“‘This is the Torah-instruction of the trespass offering. It is most holy.
2 In the place where they kill the burnt offering, he shall kill the trespass offering; and its blood he shall sprinkle around on the altar.
3 He shall offer all of its fat: the fat tail, and the fat that covers the innards,
4 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away;
5 and the priest shall burn them on the altar for an offering made by fire to YHWH: it is a trespass offering.
6 Every male among the priests may eat of it. It shall be eaten in a holy place. It is most holy.
7 “‘As is the sin offering, so is the trespass offering; there is one Torah-instruction for them. The priest who makes atonement with them shall have it.
8 The priest who offers any man’s burnt offering, even the priest shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering which he has offered.
9 Every meal offering that is baked in the oven, and all that is dressed in the pan, and on the griddle, shall be the priest’s who offers it.
10 Every meal offering, mixed with oil or dry, belongs to all the sons of Aaron, one as well as another.

11 . The Teaching and Instruction of Peace Offerings. .

“‘This is the Torah-instruction of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which one shall offer to YHWH!
12 If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mixed with oil.
13 With cakes of leavened bread he shall offer his offering with the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving.
14 Of it he shall offer one out of each offering for a heave offering to YHWH! It shall be the priest’s who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.
15 The flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his offering. He shall not leave any of it until the morning.
16 “‘But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow, or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice; and on the next day what remains of it shall be eaten:
17 but what remains of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire.
18 If any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed to him who offers it. It will be an abomination, and the soul who eats any of it will bear his iniquity.
19 “‘The flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire. As for the flesh, everyone who is clean may eat it;
20 but the soul who eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that belongs to YHWH, having his uncleanness on him, that soul shall be cut off from his people.
21 When anyone touches any unclean thing, the uncleanness of man, or an unclean animal, or any unclean abomination, and eats some of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which belong to YHWH, that soul shall be cut off from his people.’”

22 . Fat and Blood May Not Be Eaten. .

YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
23 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘You shall eat no fat, of bull, or sheep, or goat.
24 The fat of that which dies of itself, and the fat of that which is torn of animals, may be used for any other service, but you shall in no way eat of it.
25 For whoever eats the fat of the animal, of which men offer an offering made by fire to YHWH, even the soul who eats it shall be cut off from his people.
26 You shall not eat any blood, whether it is of bird or of animal, in any of your dwellings.
27 Whoever it is who eats any blood, that soul shall be cut off from his people.’”

28 . The Portion of Aaron and His Sons. .

YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
29 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘He who offers the sacrifice of his peace offerings to YHWH shall bring his offering to YHWH out of the sacrifice of his peace offerings.
30 With his own hands he shall bring the offerings of YHWH made by fire. He shall bring the fat with the breast, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before YHWH!
31 The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall be Aaron’s and his sons’.
32 The right thigh you shall give to the priest for a heave offering out of the sacrifices of your peace offerings.
33 He among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right thigh for a portion.
34 For the waved breast and the heaved thigh I have taken from the children of Israel out of the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their portion forever from the children of Israel.’”
35 This is the anointing portion of Aaron, and the anointing portion of his sons, out of the offerings of YHWH made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister to YHWH in the priest’s office;
36 which YHWH commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them. It is their portion forever throughout their generations.
37 This is the Torah-instruction of the burnt offering, of the meal offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecration, and of the sacrifice of peace offerings;
38 which YHWH commanded Moses in Mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their offerings to YHWH, in the wilderness of Sinai.

2 Corinthians 1.

1 . Greeting. .                       2Paul’s Second Letter to the Corinthians!

Paul, an emissary of Messiah YESHUA through the will of ELOHIM, and Timothy our brother, to the assembly of ELOHIM which is at Corinth, with all the holy ones who are in the whole of Achaia:
2 Grace to you and peace from ELOHIM our Father and ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah.

3 . Comfort in Suffering. .

Blessed be the ELOHIM and Father of our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah, the Father of mercies and ELOHIM of all comfort;
4 who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by ELOHIM!
5 For as the sufferings of Messiah abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Messiah.
6 But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.
7 Our hope for you is steadfast, knowing that, since you are partakers of the sufferings, so also are you of the comfort.

8 . Delivered from Suffering. .

For we don’t desire to have you uninformed, brothers, concerning our affliction which happened to us in Asia, that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, so much that we despaired even of life.
9 Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in ELOHIM who raises the dead,
10 who delivered us out of so great a death, and does deliver; on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us;
11 you also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift bestowed on us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on your behalf.

12 . Paul's Sincerity. .

For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of ELOHIM, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of ELOHIM we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
13 For we write no other things to you, than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will acknowledge to the end;
14 as also you acknowledged us in part, that we are your boasting, even as you also are ours, in the day of our ADONAI YESHUA!

15 . Sparing the Assembly. .

In this confidence, I was determined to come first to you, that you might have a second benefit;
16 and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and to be sent forward by you on my journey to Judea.
17 When I therefore was thus determined, did I show fickleness? Or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the “Yes, yes” and the “No, no?”
18 But as ELOHIM is faithful, our word toward you was not “Yes and no.”
19 For the Son of ELOHIM, YESHUA the Messiah, who was preached among you by us, by me, Silvanus, and Timothy, was not “Yes and no,” but in him is “Yes.”
20 For however many are the promises of ELOHIM, in him is the “Yes.” Therefore also through him is the “Amen,” to the glory of ELOHIM through us.
21 Now he who establishes us with you in Messiah, and anointed us, is ELOHIM;
22 who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 But I call ELOHIM for a witness to my soul, that I didn’t come to Corinth to spare you.
24 Not that we have mastership over your faith, but are fellow workers with you for your joy. For you stand firm in faith.

Tuesday - Day 3 before Shabbat - Parasha Tzav - Command.

Leviticus 8:1-36.

Leviticus 8:1-36.

1 . Aaron and His Sons Consecrated. .

YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bull of the sin offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread;
3 and assemble all the congregation at the door of the Tent of Meeting.”
4 Moses did as YHWH commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
5 Moses said to the congregation, “This is the thing which YHWH has commanded to be done.”
6 Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.
7 He put the coat on him, tied the sash on him, clothed him with the robe, put the ephod on him, and he tied the skillfully woven band of the ephod on him, and fastened it to him with it.
8 He placed the breastplate on him; and in the breastplate he put the Urim and the Thummim.
9 He set the turban on his head; and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as YHWH commanded Moses.
10 Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified them.
11 He sprinkled it on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the basin and its base, to sanctify them.
12 He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.
13 Moses brought Aaron’s sons, and clothed them with coats, and tied sashes on them, and put headbands on them; as YHWH commanded Moses.
14 He brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.
15 He killed it; and Moses took the blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it.
16 He took all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat; and Moses burned it on the altar.
17 But the bull, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp; as YHWH commanded Moses.
18 He presented the ram of the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
19 He killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood around on the altar.
20 He cut the ram into its pieces; and Moses burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat.
21 He washed the innards and the legs with water; and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasant aroma. It was an offering made by fire to YHWH; as YHWH commanded Moses.
22 He presented the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
23 He killed it; and Moses took some of its blood, and put it on the tip of Aaron’s right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot.
24 He brought Aaron’s sons; and Moses put some of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot; and Moses sprinkled the blood around on the altar.
25 He took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thigh;
26 and out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before YHWH, he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat, and on the right thigh.
27 He put all these in Aaron’s hands and in his sons’ hands, and waved them for a wave offering before YHWH!
28 Moses took them from their hands, and burned them on the altar on the burnt offering. They were a consecration for a pleasant aroma. It was an offering made by fire to YHWH!
29 Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before YHWH! It was Moses’ portion of the ram of consecration, as YHWH commanded Moses.
30 Moses took some of the anointing oil, and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons’ garments with him, and sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.
31 Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, “Boil the flesh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it.’
32 What remains of the flesh and of the bread you shall burn with fire.
33 You shall not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration are fulfilled: for he shall consecrate you seven days.
34 What has been done this day, so YHWH has commanded to do, to make atonement for you.
35 You shall stay at the door of the Tent of Meeting day and night seven days, and keep YHWH’s command, that you don’t die: for so I am commanded.”
36 Aaron and his sons did all the things which YHWH commanded by Moses.

Wednesday - Day 4 before Shabbat - Parasha Tzav - Command.

2 Corinthians 2.

2 Corinthians 2.

1 But I determined this for myself, that I would not come to you again in sorrow.
2 For if I make you sorry, then who will make me glad but he who is made sorry by me?

3 . Forgive the Offender. .

And I wrote this very thing to you, so that, when I came, I wouldn’t have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy would be shared by all of you.
4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears, not that you should be made sorry, but that you might know the love that I have so abundantly for you.
5 But if any has caused sorrow, he has caused sorrow, not to me, but in part (that I not press too heavily) to you all.
6 Sufficient to such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the many;
7 so that on the contrary you should rather forgive him and comfort him, lest by any means such a one should be swallowed up with his excessive sorrow.
8 Therefore I beg you to confirm your love toward him.
9 For to this end I also wrote, that I might know the proof of you, whether you are obedient in all things.
10 Now I also forgive whomever you forgive anything. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Messiah,
11 that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

12 . Triumph in Messiah. .

Now when I came to Troas for the Good News of Messiah, and when a door was opened to me in ADONAI,
13 I had no relief for my spirit, because I didn’t find Titus, my brother, but taking my leave of them, I went out into Macedonia.
14 Now thanks be to ELOHIM, who always leads us in triumph in Messiah, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place.
15 For we are a sweet aroma of Messiah to ELOHIM, in those who are saved, and in those who perish;
16 to the one a stench from death to death; to the other a sweet aroma from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?
17 For we are not as so many, peddling the word of ELOHIM! But as of sincerity, but as of ELOHIM, in the sight of ELOHIM, we speak in Messiah.

Thursday - Day 5 before Shabbat - Parasha Tzav - Command.

Jeremiah 7:21-end; 8:1-3; 9:23-24, 2 Corinthians 3.

Jeremiah 7:21-end; 8:1-3; 9:23-24. (JPS=Jer 7:21-8:3; 9:22-23.)

21 Thus says YHWH of Hosts, the ELOHIM of Israel: Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat meat.
22 For I didn’t speak to your fathers, nor command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
23 but this thing I commanded them, saying, Listen to my voice, and I will be your ELOHIM, and you shall be my people; and walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.
24 But they didn’t listen nor turn their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.
25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt to this day, I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
26 yet they didn’t listen to me, nor inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff: they did worse than their fathers.
27 You shall speak all these words to them; but they will not listen to you: you shall also call to them; but they will not answer you.

28
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Judgment on Obscene Religion. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

You shall tell them, This is the nation that has not listened to the voice of YHWH their ELOHIM, nor received instruction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.
29 Cut off your hair, and throw it away, and take up a lamentation on the bare heights; for YHWH has rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
30 For the children of Judah have done that which is evil in my sight, says YHWH: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.
31 They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I didn’t command, nor did it come into my mind.
32 Therefore, behold, the days come, says YHWH, that it shall no more be called Topheth, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of Slaughter: for they shall bury in Topheth, until there is no place to bury.
33 The dead bodies of this people shall be food for the birds of the sky, and for the animals of the earth; and none shall frighten them away.
34 Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; for the land shall become a waste.

1  At that time, says YHWH, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves;
2 and they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the army of the sky, which they have loved, and which they have served, and after which they have walked, and which they have sought, and which they have worshiped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried, they shall be for dung on the surface of the earth.
3 Death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue that remain of this evil family, that remain in all the places where I have driven them, says YHWH of Hosts.

23 Thus says YHWH, Don’t let the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, don’t let the rich man glory in his riches;
24 but let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am YHWH who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says YHWH!

2 Corinthians 3.

1 . Messiah's Letter. .

Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as do some, letters of commendation to you or from you?
2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men;

3 . The Spirit, Not the Letter. .

being revealed that you are a letter of Messiah, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living ELOHIM; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
4 Such confidence we have through Messiah toward ELOHIM;
5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from ELOHIM;
6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

7 . Glory of the New Covenant. .

But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away:
8 won’t service of the Spirit be with much more glory?
9 For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
10 For most certainly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.
11 For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.
12 Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech,
13 and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel wouldn’t look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.
14 But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Messiah it passes away.
15 But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
16 But whenever one turns to ADONAI, the veil is taken away.
17 Now ADONAI is the Spirit and where the Spirit of ADONAI is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of ADONAI, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from ADONAI, the Spirit.

Friday - Day 6 before Shabbat - Parasha Tzav - Command.

2 Corinthians 4.

2 Corinthians 4.

1 . The Light of Messiah's Good News. .

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don’t faint.
2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of ELOHIM deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of ELOHIM!
3 Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who perish;
4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of ELOHIM, should not dawn on them.
5 For we don’t proclaim ourselves, but Messiah YESHUA as ADONAI, and ourselves as your servants for YESHUA’s sake;
6 seeing it is ELOHIM who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of ELOHIM in the face of YESHUA the Messiah.

7 . Cast Down but Unconquered. .

But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of ELOHIM, and not from ourselves.
8 We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;
9 pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
10 always carrying in the body the putting to death of ADONAI YESHUA, that the life of YESHUA may also be revealed in our body.
11 For we who live are always delivered to death for YESHUA’s sake, that the life also of YESHUA may be revealed in our mortal flesh.
12 So then death works in us, but life in you.
13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke.” We also believe, and therefore also we speak;
14 knowing that he who raised ADONAI YESHUA will raise us also with YESHUA, and will present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound to the glory of ELOHIM!

16 . Seeing the Invisible. .

Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;
18 while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Saturday - Shabbat - Parasha Tzav - Command.

2 Corinthians 5.

2 Corinthians 5.

1 . Assurance of the Resurrection. .

For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from ELOHIM, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.
2 For most certainly in this we groan, longing to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven;
3 if so be that being clothed we will not be found naked.
4 For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened; not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
5 Now he who made us for this very thing is ELOHIM, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.
6 Therefore, we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from ADONAI;
7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.
8 We are courageous, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with ADONAI.

9 . The Judgment Seat of Messiah. .

Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him.
10 For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Messiah; that each one may receive the things in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the fear of ADONAI, we persuade men, but we are revealed to ELOHIM; and I hope that we are revealed also in your consciences.

12 . Be Reconciled to ELOHIM. .

For we are not commending ourselves to you again, but speak as giving you occasion of boasting on our behalf, that you may have something to answer those who boast in appearance, and not in heart.
13 For if we are beside ourselves, it is for ELOHIM! Or if we are of sober mind, it is for you.
14 For the love of Messiah constrains us; because we judge thus, that one died for all, therefore all died.
15 He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Messiah after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
17 Therefore if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
18 But all things are of ELOHIM, who reconciled us to himself through YESHUA the Messiah, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 namely, that ELOHIM was in Messiah reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Messiah, as though ELOHIM were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Messiah, be reconciled to ELOHIM!
21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of ELOHIM!
