Sunday
- Day 1 before Shabbat - Parasha Tazria-Metzora - She Conceives - Person with
Skin Disease.
Leviticus 12,
Galatians 1.,2.
Tazria:
Leviticus
12.
1 . The Ritual After
Childbirth. .
YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If
a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven
days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.
3 In the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin
shall be circumcised.
4 She shall continue in the blood of purification
thirty-three days. She shall not touch any holy thing, nor come into the
sanctuary, until the days of her purifying are completed.
5 But if she bears a female child, then she
shall be unclean two weeks, as in her period; and she shall continue in the
blood of purification sixty-six days.
6 “‘When the days of her purification are
completed, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the
door of the Tent of Meeting, a year old lamb for a burnt offering, and a young
pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering:
7 and he shall offer it before YHWH, and make
atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the fountain of her blood.
“‘This is the Torah-instruction for her who bears, whether a male or a female.
8 If she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall
take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons; the one for a burnt offering, and
the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make atonement for her, and
she shall be clean.’”
Galatians
1.,2.
1 . Greeting. . Paul’s Letter to the
Galatians!
Paul, an emissary (not from men,
neither through man, but through YESHUA the Messiah, and ELOHIM the Father, who
raised him from the dead),
2 and all the brothers who are with me, to the
assemblies of Galatia:
3 Grace to you and peace from ELOHIM the
Father, and our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah,
4 who gave himself for our sins, that he might
deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our ELOHIM
and Father
5 to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
6 . Only One Good News. .
I marvel that you are so quickly
deserting him who called you in the grace of Messiah to a different “good
news”;
7 and there isn’t another “good news.” Only
there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Messiah.
8 But even though we, or an angel from heaven,
should proclaim to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to
you, let him be cursed.
9 As we have said before, so I now say again:
if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received,
let him be cursed.
10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of
ELOHIM? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I
wouldn’t be a servant of Messiah.
11 . Call to Apostleship. .
But I make known to you, brothers,
concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to
man.
12 For neither did I receive it from man, nor
was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of YESHUA the Messiah.
13 For you have heard of my way of living in
time past in Judaism, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of
ELOHIM, and ravaged it.
14 I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my own
age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of
my fathers.
15 But when it was the good pleasure of ELOHIM,
who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace,
16 to reveal his Son in me, that I might
proclaim him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and
blood,
17 nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were
emissaries before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.
18 . Contacts at Jerusalem. .
Then after three years I went up
to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.
19 But of the other emissaries I saw no one,
except Jacob, ADONAI’s brother.
20 Now about the things which I write to you,
behold, before ELOHIM, I’m not lying.
21 Then I came to the regions of Syria and
Cilicia.
22 I was still unknown by face to the
assemblies of Judea which were in Messiah,
23 but they only heard: “He who once persecuted
us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”
24 And they glorified ELOHIM in me.
1 . Defending the Good News.
.
Then after a period of fourteen
years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me.
2 I went up by revelation, and I laid before
them the Good News which I proclaim among the Gentiles, but privately before
those who were respected, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in
vain.
3 But not even Titus, who was with me, being a
Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.
4 This was because of the false brothers
secretly brought in, who stole in to spy out our liberty which we have in
Messiah YESHUA, that they might bring us into bondage;
5 to whom we gave no place in the way of
subjection, not for an hour, that the truth of the Good News might continue
with you.
6 But from those who were reputed to be
important (whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; ELOHIM doesn’t
show partiality to man) they, I say, who were respected imparted nothing to me,
7 but to the contrary, when they saw that I had
been entrusted with the Good News for the uncircumcision, even as Peter with
the Good News for the circumcision
8 (for he who appointed Peter to be an emissary
of the circumcision appointed me also to the Gentiles);
9 and when they perceived the grace that was
given to me, Jacob and Kefa and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave
to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the
Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.
10 They only asked us to remember the poor
which very thing I was also zealous to do.
. Return to the Torah? .
11 But when Peter came to Antioch, I resisted
him to his face, because he stood condemned.
12 For before some people came from Jacob, he
ate with the Gentiles. But when they came, he drew back and separated himself,
fearing those who were of the circumcision.
13 And the rest of the Jewish believers joined
him in his hypocrisy; so that even Barnabas was carried away with their
hypocrisy.
14 But when I saw that they didn’t walk
uprightly according to the truth of the Good News, I said to Peter before them
all, “If you, being a Jew, live as the Gentiles do, and not as the Jews do, why
do you compel the Gentiles to live as the Jews do?
15 “We, being Jews by birth, and not Gentile
sinners,
16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by
the works of the Torah (teaching and instruction) but through faith in YESHUA
the Messiah, even we believed in Messiah YESHUA, that we might be justified by
faith in Messiah, and not by the works of the Torah (teaching and instruction),
because no flesh will be justified by the works of the Torah (teaching and
instruction).
17 But if, while we sought to be justified in
Messiah, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Messiah a servant of sin?
Certainly not!
18 For if I build up again those things which I
destroyed, I prove myself a law-breaker.
19 For I, through the Torah (teaching and
instruction), died to the Torah (teaching and instruction), that I might live
to ELOHIM!
20 I have been crucified with Messiah, and it
is no longer I that live, but Messiah living in me. That life which I now live
in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of ELOHIM, who loved me, and gave
himself up for me.
21 I don’t make void the grace of ELOHIM! For
if righteousness is through the Torah (teaching and instruction), then Messiah
died for nothing!”

Monday - Day 2 before
Shabbat - Parasha Tazria-Metzora - She Conceives - Person with Skin Disease.
Leviticus 13:1-59,
Galatians 3.,4.
Tazria
(continued):
Leviticus
13:1-59.
1 . The Teaching and
Instruction Concerning Leprosy. .
YHWH spoke to Moses and to Aaron,
saying,
2 “When a man shall have a rising in his body’s
skin, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes in the skin of his body the
plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of
his sons, the priests:
3 and the priest shall examine the plague in
the skin of the body: and if the hair in the plague has turned white, and the
appearance of the plague is deeper than the body’s skin, it is the plague of
leprosy; and the priest shall examine him, and pronounce him unclean.
4 If the bright spot is white in the skin of
his body, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and its hair hasn’t
turned white, then the priest shall isolate the infected person for seven days.
5 The priest shall examine him on the seventh
day, and, behold, if in his eyes the plague is arrested, and the plague hasn’t
spread in the skin, then the priest shall isolate him for seven more days.
6 The priest shall examine him again on the
seventh day; and behold, if the plague has faded, and the plague hasn’t spread
in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a scab. He shall
wash his clothes, and be clean.
7 But if the scab spreads on the skin, after he
has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall show himself to the
priest again.
8 The priest shall examine him; and behold, if
the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean.
It is leprosy.
9 “When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then
he shall be brought to the priest;
10 and the priest shall examine him. Behold, if
there is a white rising in the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and
there is raw flesh in the rising,
11 it is a chronic leprosy in the skin of his
body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He shall not isolate him, for
he is unclean.
12 “If the leprosy breaks out all over the
skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the infected person from his head
even to his feet, as far as it appears to the priest;
13 then the priest shall examine him; and,
behold, if the leprosy has covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean
of the plague. It has all turned white: he is clean.
14 But whenever raw flesh appears in him, he
shall be unclean.
15 The priest shall examine the raw flesh, and
pronounce him unclean: the raw flesh is unclean. It is leprosy.
16 Or if the raw flesh turns again, and is
changed to white, then he shall come to the priest;
17 and the priest shall examine him; and,
behold, if the plague has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him
clean of the plague. He is clean.
18 “When the body has a boil on its skin, and
it has healed,
19 and in the place of the boil there is a
white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be shown to the
priest;
20 and the priest shall examine it; and behold,
if its appearance is lower than the skin, and its hair has turned white, then
the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. It has
broken out in the boil.
21 But if the priest examines it, and behold,
there are no white hairs in it, and it isn’t deeper than the skin, but is dim,
then the priest shall isolate him seven days.
22 If it spreads in the skin, then the priest
shall pronounce him unclean. It is a plague.
23 But if the bright spot stays in its place,
and hasn’t spread, it is the scar from the boil; and the priest shall pronounce
him clean.
24 “Or when the body has a burn from fire on
its skin, and the raw flesh of the burn becomes a bright spot, reddish-white,
or white,
25 then the priest shall examine it; and
behold, if the hair in the bright spot has turned white, and its appearance is
deeper than the skin; it is leprosy. It has broken out in the burning, and the
priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy.
26 But if the priest examines it, and behold,
there is no white hair in the bright spot, and it isn’t lower than the skin,
but is faded; then the priest shall isolate him seven days.
27 The priest shall examine him on the seventh
day. If it has spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean.
It is the plague of leprosy.
28 If the bright spot stays in its place, and
hasn’t spread in the skin, but is faded, it is the swelling from the burn, and
the priest shall pronounce him clean; for it is the scar from the burn.
29 “When a man or woman has a plague on the
head or on the beard,
30 then the priest shall examine the plague;
and behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and the hair in it is
yellow and thin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is an itch, it
is leprosy of the head or of the beard.
31 If the priest examines the plague of
itching, and behold, its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and there is no
black hair in it, then the priest shall isolate him the person infected with
itching seven days.
32 On the seventh day the priest shall examine
the plague; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread, and there is no yellow hair
in it, and the appearance of the itch isn’t deeper than the skin,
33 then he shall be shaved, but he shall not
shave the itch; and the priest shall shut him up who has the itch seven more
days.
34 On the seventh day, the priest shall examine
the itch; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread in the skin, and its appearance
isn’t deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall
wash his clothes, and be clean.
35 But if the itch spreads in the skin after
his cleansing,
36 then the priest shall examine him; and
behold, if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest shall not look for the
yellow hair; he is unclean.
37 But if in his eyes the itch is arrested, and
black hair has grown in it; the itch is healed, he is clean. The priest shall
pronounce him clean.
38 “When a man or a woman has bright spots in
the skin of the body, even white bright spots;
39 then the priest shall examine them; and
behold, if the bright spots on the skin of their body are a dull white, it is a
harmless rash, it has broken out in the skin; he is clean.
40 “If a man’s hair has fallen from his head,
he is bald. He is clean.
41 If his hair has fallen off from the front
part of his head, he is forehead bald. He is clean.
42 But if there is in the bald head, or the
bald forehead, a reddish-white plague; it is leprosy breaking out in his bald
head, or his bald forehead.
43 Then the priest shall examine him; and,
behold, if the rising of the plague is reddish-white in his bald head, or in
his bald forehead, like the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh,
44 he is a leprous man. He is unclean. The
priest shall surely pronounce him unclean. His plague is on his head.
45 “The leper in whom the plague is shall wear
torn clothes, and the hair of his head shall hang loose. He shall cover his
upper lip, and shall cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’
46 All the days in which the plague is in him
he shall be unclean. He is unclean. He shall dwell alone. Outside of the camp
shall be his dwelling.
47 . The Teaching and Instruction
Concerning Leprous Garments. .
“The garment also that the plague
of leprosy is in, whether it is a woolen garment, or a linen garment;
48 whether it is in warp, or woof; of linen, or
of wool; whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin;
49 if the plague is greenish or reddish in the
garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything made of
skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be shown to the priest.
50 The priest shall examine the plague, and
isolate the plague seven days.
51 He shall examine the plague on the seventh
day. If the plague has spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the
woof, or in the skin, whatever use the skin is used for, the plague is a
destructive mildew. It is unclean.
52 He shall burn the garment, whether the warp
or the woof, in wool or in linen, or anything of skin, in which the plague is:
for it is a destructive mildew. It shall be burned in the fire.
53 “If the priest examines it, and behold, the
plague hasn’t spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in
anything of skin;
54 then the priest shall command that they wash
the thing in which the plague is, and he shall isolate it seven more days.
55 Then the priest shall examine it, after the
plague is washed; and behold, if the plague hasn’t changed its color, and the
plague hasn’t spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire. It is a
mildewed spot, whether the bareness is inside or outside.
56 If the priest looks, and behold, the plague
has faded after it is washed, then he shall tear it out of the garment, or out
of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:
57 and if it appears again in the garment,
either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is spreading.
You shall burn with fire that in which the plague is.
58 The garment, either the warp, or the woof,
or whatever thing of skin it is, which you shall wash, if the plague has
departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and it will be
clean.”
59 This is the Torah-instruction of the plague
of mildew in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or in
anything of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
Galatians
3.,4.
1 . Justification by Faith. .
Foolish Galatians, who has
bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes YESHUA the Messiah was
openly set forth among you as crucified?
2 I just want to learn this from you. Did you
receive the Spirit by the works of the Torah (teaching and instruction), or by
hearing of faith?
3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the
Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh?
4 Did you suffer so many things in vain, if it
is indeed in vain?
5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you,
and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the Torah (teaching
and instruction), or by hearing of faith?
6 Even as Abraham “believed ELOHIM, and it was
counted to him for righteousness.”
7 Know therefore that those who are of faith,
the same are children of Abraham.
8 The Scripture, foreseeing that ELOHIM would
justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham,
saying, “In you all the nations will be blessed.”
9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed
with the faithful Abraham.
10 . The Torah and a Curse. .
For as many as are of the works of
the Torah (teaching and instruction) are under a curse. For it is written,
“Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the
scroll of the Torah, to do them.”
11 Now that no man is justified by the Torah
(teaching and instruction) before ELOHIM is evident, for, “The righteous will
live by faith.”
12 The Torah (teaching and instruction) is not
of faith, but, “The man who does them will live by them.”
13 Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the
Torah (teaching and instruction), having become a curse for us. For it is
written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,”
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on
the Gentiles through Messiah YESHUA; that we might receive the promise of the
Spirit through faith.
15 . The Changeless Promise. .
Brothers, speaking of human terms,
though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been confirmed, no one
makes it void, or adds to it.
16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and
to his seed. He doesn’t say, “To seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “To your
seed,” which is Messiah.
17 Now I say this. A covenant confirmed beforehand
by ELOHIM in Messiah, the Torah (teaching and instruction), which came four
hundred thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no
effect.
18 For if the inheritance is of the Torah
(teaching and instruction), it is no more of promise; but ELOHIM has granted it
to Abraham by promise.
19 . Purpose of the Torah. .
What then is the Torah (teaching
and instruction)? It was added because of transgressions, until the seed should
come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the
hand of a mediator.
20 Now a mediator is not between one, but
ELOHIM is one.
21 Is the Torah (teaching and instruction) then
against the promises of ELOHIM? Certainly not! For if there had been a Torah
(teaching and instruction) given which could make alive, most certainly
righteousness would have been of the Torah (teaching and instruction).
22 But the Scriptures imprisoned all things
under sin, that the promise by faith in YESHUA the Messiah might be given to
those who believe.
23 But before faith came, we were kept in
custody under the Torah (teaching and instruction), confined for the faith
which should afterwards be revealed.
24 So that the Torah (teaching and instruction)
has become our tutor to bring us to Messiah, that we might be justified by
faith.
25 But now that faith has come, we are no
longer under a tutor.
26 . Sons and Heirs. .
For you are all children of
ELOHIM, through faith in Messiah YESHUA!
27 For as many of you as were immersed into
Messiah have put on Messiah.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is
neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all
one in Messiah YESHUA!
29 If you are Messiah’s, then you are Abraham’s
seed and heirs according to promise.
1 But I say that so long as the
heir is a child, he is no different from a bondservant, though he is master of
all;
2 but is under guardians and stewards until the
day appointed by the father.
3 So we also, when we were children, were held
in bondage under the elemental principles of the world.
4 But when the fullness of the time came,
ELOHIM sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the Torah (teaching and
instruction),
5 that he might redeem those who were under the
Torah (teaching and instruction), that we might receive the adoption of
children.
6 And because you are children, ELOHIM sent out
the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”
7 So you are no longer a bondservant, but a
son; and if a son, then an heir of ELOHIM through Messiah.
8 . Fears for the Assembly. .
However at that time, not knowing
ELOHIM, you were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods.
9 But now that you have come to know ELOHIM, or
rather to be known by ELOHIM, why do you turn back again to the weak and
miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over
again?
10 You observe days, months, seasons, and
years.
11 I am afraid for you, that I might have
wasted my labor for you.
12 I beg you, brothers, become as I am, for I
also have become as you are. You did me no wrong,
13 but you know that because of weakness of the
flesh I preached the Good News to you the first time.
14 That which was a temptation to you in my
flesh, you didn’t despise nor reject; but you received me as an angel of
ELOHIM, even as Messiah YESHUA!
15 What was the blessing you enjoyed? For I
testify to you that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and
given them to me.
16 So then, have I become your enemy by telling
you the truth?
17 They zealously seek you in no good way. No,
they desire to alienate you, that you may seek them.
18 But it is always good to be zealous in a
good cause, and not only when I am present with you.
19 My little children, of whom I am again in
travail until Messiah is formed in you
20 but I could wish to be present with you now,
and to change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.
21 . Two Covenants. .
Tell me, you that desire to be
under the Torah (teaching and instruction), don’t you listen to the Torah
(teaching and instruction)?
22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons,
one by the handmaid, and one by the free woman.
23 However, the son by the handmaid was born
according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.
24 These things contain an allegory, for these
are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children to bondage, which
is Hagar.
25 For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and
answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her
children.
26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free,
which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, “Rejoice, you barren who don’t bear. Break forth and shout, you that don’t travail. For more are the children of the desolate
than of her who has a husband.”
28 Now we, brothers, as Isaac was, are children
of promise.
29 But as then, he who was born according to
the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is
now.
30 However what does the Scripture say? “Throw
out the handmaid and her son, for the son of the handmaid will not inherit with
the son of the free woman.”
31 So then, brothers, we are not children of a
handmaid, but of the free woman.

Tuesday - Day 3 before
Shabbat - Parasha Tazria-Metzora - She Conceives - Person with Skin Disease.
Galatians 5.,6:1-18.
Tazria
(continued):
Galatians
5.,6:1-18.
1 . Messiahian Liberty. .
Stand firm therefore in the
liberty by which Messiah has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a
yoke of bondage.
2 Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive
circumcision, Messiah will profit you nothing.
3 Yes, I testify again to every man who
receives circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole Torah (teaching and
instruction).
4 You are alienated from Messiah, you who
desire to be justified by the Torah (teaching and instruction). You have fallen
away from grace.
5 For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for
the hope of righteousness.
6 For in Messiah YESHUA neither circumcision
amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.
7 . Love Fulfills the Torah. .
You were running well! Who
interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?
8 This persuasion is not from him who calls
you.
9 A little yeast grows through the whole lump.
10 I have confidence toward you in ADONAI that
you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment,
whoever he is.
11 But I, brothers, if I still proclaim
circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross
has been removed.
12 I wish that those who disturb you would cut
themselves off.
13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom.
Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants
to one another.
14 For the whole Torah (teaching and
instruction) is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor
as yourself.”
15 But if you bite and devour one another, be
careful that you don’t consume one another.
16 . Walking in the Spirit. .
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and
you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and
the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you
may not do the things that you desire.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are
not under the Torah (teaching and instruction).
19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious,
which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife,
jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and
things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that
those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of ELOHIM!
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,
23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such
things there is no law.
24 Those who belong to Messiah have crucified
the flesh with its passions and lusts.
25 If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by
the Spirit.
26 Let’s not become conceited, provoking one
another, and envying one another.
1 . Bear and Share the
Burdens. .
Brothers, even if a man is caught
in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of
gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.
2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill
the Torah of Messiah.
3 For if a man thinks himself to be something
when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 But let each man test his own work, and then
he will take pride in himself and not in his neighbor.
5 For each man will bear his own burden.
6 . Be Generous and Do Good. .
But let him who is taught in the
word share all good things with him who teaches.
7 Don’t be deceived. ELOHIM is not mocked, for
whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from
the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit
reap eternal life.
9 Let us not be weary in doing good, for we
will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.
10 So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do
what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the
household of the faith.
11 . Glory Only in the Tree. .
See with what large letters I
write to you with my own hand.
12 As many as desire to look good in the flesh,
they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the
cross of Messiah.
13 For even they who receive circumcision don’t
keep the Torah (teaching and instruction) themselves, but they desire to have
you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.
14 But far be it from me to boast, except in
the cross of our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah, through which the world has been
crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 For in Messiah YESHUA neither is
circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
16 . Blessing and a Plea. .
As many as walk by this rule,
peace and mercy be on them, and on ELOHIM’s Israel.
17 From now on, let no one cause me any
trouble, for I bear the marks of ADONAI YESHUA branded on my body.
18 The grace of our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah
be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.

Wednesday - Day 4 before
Shabbat - Parasha Tazria-Metzora - She Conceives - Person with Skin Disease.
Leviticus 14,
Ephesians 1.,2.
Metzora:
Leviticus
14.
1 . The Ritual for Cleansing
Healed Lepers. .
YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “This shall be the Torah-instruction of the
leper in the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest,
3 and the priest shall go forth out of the
camp. The priest shall examine him, and behold, if the plague of leprosy is
healed in the leper,
4 then the priest shall command them to take
for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and
scarlet, and hyssop.
5 The priest shall command them to kill one of
the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and
the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the
living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.
7 He shall sprinkle on him who is to be
cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall
let the living bird go into the open field.
8 “He who is to be cleansed shall wash his
clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall
be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his
tent seven days.
9 It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall
shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his
hair he shall shave off. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body
in water, then he shall be clean.
10 “On the eighth day he shall take two male
lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and three
tenths of an efah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and one
log of oil.
11 The priest who cleanses him shall set the
man who is to be cleansed, and those things, before YHWH, at the door of the
Tent of Meeting.
12 “The priest shall take one of the male
lambs, and offer him for a trespass offering, with the log of oil, and wave
them for a wave offering before YHWH!
13 He shall kill the male lamb in the place
where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the
sanctuary; for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass
offering. It is most holy.
14 The priest shall take some of the blood of
the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it on the tip of the right ear
of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the
big toe of his right foot.
15 The priest shall take some of the log of
oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.
16 The priest shall dip his right finger in the
oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle some of the oil with his
finger seven times before YHWH!
17 The priest shall put some of the rest of the
oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be
cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right
foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering.
18 The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s
hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest
shall make atonement for him before YHWH!
19 “The priest shall offer the sin offering,
and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness:
and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering;
20 and the priest shall offer the burnt
offering and the meal offering on the altar. The priest shall make atonement
for him, and he shall be clean.
21 “If he is poor, and can’t afford so much,
then he shall take one male lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make
atonement for him, and one tenth of an efah of fine flour mingled with oil for
a meal offering, and a log of oil;
22 and two turtledoves, or two young pigeons,
such as he is able to afford; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the
other a burnt offering.
23 “On the eighth day he shall bring them for
his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, before YHWH!
24 The priest shall take the lamb of the
trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a
wave offering before YHWH!
25 He shall kill the lamb of the trespass
offering. The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and
put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the
thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
26 The priest shall pour some of the oil into
the palm of his own left hand;
27 and the priest shall sprinkle with his right
finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before YHWH!
28 Then the priest shall put some of the oil
that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed,
and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on
the place of the blood of the trespass offering.
29 The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s
hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement
for him before YHWH!
30 He shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of
the young pigeons, such as he is able to afford,
31 even such as he is able to afford, the one
for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meal offering.
The priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before YHWH!”
32 This is the Torah-instruction for him in
whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to afford the sacrifice for his
cleansing.
33 . The Teaching and Instruction
Concerning Leprous Houses. .
YHWH spoke to Moses and to Aaron,
saying,
34 “When you have come into the land of Canaan,
which I give to you for a possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house
in the land of your possession,
35 then he who owns the house shall come and
tell the priest, saying, ‘There seems to me to be some sort of plague in the house.’
36 The priest shall command that they empty the
house, before the priest goes in to examine the plague, that all that is in the
house not be made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to inspect the
house.
37 He shall examine the plague; and behold, if
the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or
reddish, and it appears to be deeper than the wall;
38 then the priest shall go out of the house to
the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.
39 The priest shall come again on the seventh
day, and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,
40 then the priest shall command that they take
out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place
outside of the city:
41 and he shall cause the inside of the house
to be scraped all over, and they shall pour out the mortar, that they scraped
off, outside of the city into an unclean place.
42 They shall take other stones, and put them
in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster
the house.
43 “If the plague comes again, and breaks out
in the house, after he has taken out the stones, and after he has scraped the
house, and after it was plastered;
44 then the priest shall come in and look; and
behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in
the house. It is unclean.
45 He shall break down the house, its stones,
and its timber, and all the house’s mortar. He shall carry them out of the city
into an unclean place.
46 “Moreover he who goes into the house while
it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.
47 He who lies down in the house shall wash his
clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
48 “If the priest shall come in, and examine
it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the house, after the house was
plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague
is healed.
49 To cleanse the house he shall take two
birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.
50 He shall kill one of the birds in an earthen
vessel over running water.
51 He shall take the cedar wood, and the
hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the
slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.
52 He shall cleanse the house with the blood of
the bird, and with the running water, with the living bird, with the cedar
wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;
53 but he shall let the living bird go out of
the city into the open field. So shall he make atonement for the house; and it
shall be clean.”
54 This is the Torah-instruction for any plague
of leprosy, and for an itch,
55 and for the destructive mildew of a garment,
and for a house,
56 and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a
bright spot;
57 to teach when it is unclean, and when it is
clean. This is the Torah-instruction of
leprosy.
Ephesians
1.,2.
1 . Greeting. . Paul’s Letter to the
Ephesians!
Paul, an emissary of Messiah
YESHUA through the will of ELOHIM, to the holy ones who are at Ephesus, and the
faithful in Messiah YESHUA:
2 Grace to you and peace from ELOHIM our Father
and ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah.
3 . Redemption in Messiah. .
Blessed be the ELOHIM and Father
of our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing
in the heavenly places in Messiah;
4 even as he chose us in him before the
foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him
in love;
5 having predestined us for adoption as
children through YESHUA the Messiah to himself, according to the good pleasure
of his desire,
6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, by
which he freely bestowed favor on us in the Beloved,
7 in whom we have our redemption through his
blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
8 which he made to abound toward us in all
wisdom and prudence,
9 making known to us the mystery of his will,
according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him
10 to an administration of the fullness of the
times, to sum up all things in Messiah, the things in the heavens, and the
things on the earth, in him;
11 in whom also we were assigned an
inheritance, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who works
all things after the counsel of his will;
12 to the end that we should be to the praise
of his glory, we who had before hoped in Messiah:
13 in whom you also, having heard the word of
the truth, the Good News of your salvation in whom, having also believed, you
were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
14 who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the
redemption of ELOHIM’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.
15 . Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom. .
For this cause I also, having
heard of the faith in ADONAI YESHUA which is among you, and the love which you
have toward all the holy ones,
16 don’t cease to give thanks for you, making
mention of you in my prayers,
17 that the ELOHIM of our ADONAI YESHUA the
Messiah, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation
in the knowledge of him;
18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened,
that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of
the glory of his inheritance in the holy ones,
19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his
power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his
might
20 which he worked in Messiah, when he raised
him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly
places,
21 far above all rule, and authority, and
power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but
also in that which is to come.
22 He put all things in subjection under his
feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly,
23 which is his body, the fullness of him who
fills all in all.
1 . By Grace Through Faith. .
You were made alive when you were
dead in transgressions and sins,
2 in which you once walked according to the
course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the
spirit who now works in the children of disobedience;
3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust
of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by
nature children of wrath, even as the rest.
4 But ELOHIM, being rich in mercy, for his
great love with which he loved us,
5 even when we were dead through our
trespasses, made us alive together with Messiah (by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit
with him in the heavenly places in Messiah YESHUA,
7 that in the ages to come he might show the
exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Messiah YESHUA;
8 for by grace you have been saved through
faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of ELOHIM,
9 not of works, that no one would boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in
Messiah YESHUA for good works, which ELOHIM prepared before that we would walk
in them.
11 . Brought Near by His Blood. .
Therefore remember that once you,
the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “uncircumcision” by that which is
called “circumcision,” (in the flesh, made by hands);
12 that you were at that time separate from
Messiah, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the
covenants of the promise, having no hope and without ELOHIM in the world.
13 But now in Messiah YESHUA you who once were far
off are made near in the blood of Messiah.
14 . Messiah Our Peace. .
For he is our peace, who made both
one, and broke down the middle wall of partition,
15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility,
the Torah (teaching and instruction) of commandments contained in ordinances,
that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;
16 and might reconcile them both in one body to
ELOHIM through the cross, having killed the hostility thereby.
17 He came and preached peace to you who were
far off and to those who were near.
18 For through him we both have our access in
one Spirit to the Father.
19 . Messiah Our Cornerstone. .
So then you are no longer
strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the holy ones, and
of the household of ELOHIM,
20 being built on the foundation of the
emissaries and prophets, Messiah YESHUA himself being the chief cornerstone;
21 in whom the whole building, fitted together,
grows into a holy temple in ADONAI;
22 in whom you also are built together for a
habitation of ELOHIM in the Spirit.

Leviticus 15:1-33,
Ephesians 3.,4.

Leviticus
15:1-33.
1 . The Teaching and
Instruction Concerning Bodily Discharges. .
YHWH spoke to Moses and to Aaron,
saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and tell
them, ‘When any man has a discharge from his body, because of his discharge he
is unclean.
3 This shall be his uncleanness in his
discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body has stopped
from his discharge, it is his uncleanness.
4 “‘Every bed whereon he who has the discharge
lies shall be unclean; and everything he sits on shall be unclean.
5 Whoever touches his bed shall wash his
clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
6 He who sits on anything whereon the man who
has the discharge sat shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and
be unclean until the evening.
7 “‘He who touches the body of him who has the
discharge shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean
until the evening.
8 “‘If he who has the discharge spits on him
who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and
be unclean until the evening.
9 “‘Whatever saddle he who has the discharge
rides on shall be unclean.
10 Whoever touches anything that was under him
shall be unclean until the evening. He who carries those things shall wash his
clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
11 “‘Whoever he who has the discharge touches,
without having rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe
himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
12 “‘The earthen vessel, which he who has the
discharge touches, shall be broken; and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in
water.
13 “‘When he who has a discharge is cleansed of
his discharge, then he shall count to himself seven days for his cleansing, and
wash his clothes; and he shall bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be
clean.
14 “‘On the eighth day he shall take two turtledoves,
or two young pigeons, and come before YHWH to the door of the Tent of Meeting,
and give them to the priest:
15 and the priest shall offer them, the one for
a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. The priest shall make
atonement for him before YHWH for his discharge.
16 “‘If any man has an emission of semen, then
he shall bathe all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the evening.
17 Every garment, and every skin, whereon the
semen is, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the evening.
18 If a man lies with a woman and there is an
emission of semen, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean
until the evening.
19 “‘If a woman has a discharge, and her
discharge in her flesh is blood, she shall be in her impurity seven days: and
whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening.
20 “‘Everything that she lies on in her
impurity shall be unclean. Everything also that she sits on shall be unclean.
21 Whoever touches her bed shall wash his
clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
22 Whoever touches anything that she sits on
shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
evening.
23 If it is on the bed, or on anything whereon
she sits, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until the evening.
24 “‘If any man lies with her, and her monthly
flow is on him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed whereon he lies
shall be unclean.
25 “‘If a woman has a discharge of her blood
many days not in the time of her period, or if she has a discharge beyond the
time of her period; all the days of the discharge of her uncleanness shall be
as in the days of her period: she is unclean.
26 Every bed whereon she lies all the days of
her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her period: and everything whereon
she sits shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her period.
27 Whoever touches these things shall be
unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean
until the evening.
28 “‘But if she is cleansed of her discharge,
then she shall count to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.
29 On the eighth day she shall take two
turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and bring them to the priest, to the door of
the Tent of Meeting.
30 The priest shall offer the one for a sin
offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make
atonement for her before YHWH for the uncleanness of her discharge.
31 “‘Thus you shall separate the children of
Israel from their uncleanness, so they will not die in their uncleanness, when
they defile my tabernacle that is in their midst.’”
32 This is the Torah-instruction of him who has
a discharge, and of him who has an emission of semen, so that he is unclean
thereby;
33 and of her who has her period, and of a man
or woman who has a discharge, and of him who lies with her who is unclean.
Ephesians
3.,4.
1 . The Mystery Revealed. .
For this cause I, Paul, am the
prisoner of Messiah YESHUA on behalf of you Gentiles,
2 if it is so that you have heard of the
administration of that grace of ELOHIM which was given me toward you;
3 how that by revelation the mystery was made
known to me, as I wrote before in few words,
4 by which, when you read, you can perceive my
understanding in the mystery of Messiah;
5 which in other generations was not made known
to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy emissaries and
prophets in the Spirit;
6 that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, and
fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of his promise in Messiah
YESHUA through the Good News,
7 of which I was made a servant, according to
the gift of that grace of ELOHIM which was given me according to the working of
his power.
8 . Purpose of the Mystery. .
To me, the very least of all holy
ones, was this grace given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches
of Messiah,
9 and to make all men see what is the
administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in ELOHIM, who
created all things through YESHUA the Messiah;
10 to the intent that now through the assembly
the manifold wisdom of ELOHIM might be made known to the principalities and the
powers in the heavenly places,
11 according to the eternal purpose which he
purposed in Messiah YESHUA our ADONAI;
12 in whom we have boldness and access in
confidence through our faith in him.
13 Therefore I ask that you may not lose heart
at my troubles for you, which are your glory.
14 . Appreciation of the Mystery. .
For this cause, I bow my knees to
the Father of our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah,
15 from whom every family in heaven and on
earth is named,
16 that he would grant you, according to the
riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit
in the inward man;
17 that Messiah may dwell in your hearts
through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be strengthened to comprehend with all
the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
19 and to know Messiah’s love which surpasses
knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of ELOHIM!
20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly
abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in
us,
21 to him be the glory in the assembly and in
Messiah YESHUA to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
1 . Walk in Unity. .
I therefore, the prisoner in
ADONAI, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
2 with all lowliness and humility, with
patience, bearing with one another in love;
3 being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit
in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as
you also were called in one hope of your calling;
5 one ADONAI, one faith, one immersion,
6 one ELOHIM and Father of all, who is over
all, and through all, and in us all.
7 . Spiritual Gifts. .
But to each one of us was the
grace given according to the measure of the gift of Messiah.
8 Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high,
he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.”
9 Now this, “He ascended,” what is it but that
he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He who descended is the one who also
ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.
11 He gave some to be emissaries; and some,
prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
12 for the perfecting of the holy ones, to the
work of serving, to the building up of the body of Messiah;
13 until we all attain to the unity of the
faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of ELOHIM, to a full grown man, to the
measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah;
14 that we may no longer be children, tossed
back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery
of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up
in all things into him, who is the head, Messiah;
16 from whom all the body, being fitted and
knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working
in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up
of itself in love.
17 . The New Man. .
This I say therefore, and testify
in ADONAI, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in
the futility of their mind,
18 being darkened in their understanding,
alienated from the life of ELOHIM, because of the ignorance that is in them,
because of the hardening of their hearts;
19 who having become callous gave themselves up
to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But you did not learn Messiah that way;
21 if indeed you heard him, and were taught in
him, even as truth is in YESHUA:
22 that you put away, as concerning your former
way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit;
23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of
your mind,
24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness
of ELOHIM has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
25 . Do Not Grieve the Spirit. .
Therefore, putting away falsehood,
speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another.
26 “Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun
go down on your wrath,
27 neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him who stole steal no more; but rather
let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have
something to give to him who has need.
29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your
mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give
grace to those who hear.
30 Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of ELOHIM, in
whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry,
and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.
32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted,
forgiving each other, just as ELOHIM also in Messiah forgave you.

Kings 7:3-20.
3 . The Syrians Flee. .
Now there were four leprous men at
the entrance of the gate. They said one to another, “Why do we sit here until
we die?
4 If we say, ‘We will enter into the city,’
then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. If we sit still here,
we also die. Now therefore come, and let us surrender to the army of the
Syrians. If they save us alive, we will live; and if they kill us, we will only
die.”
5 They rose up in the twilight, to go to the
camp of the Syrians. When they had come to the outermost part of the camp of
the Syrians, behold, there was no man there.
6 For ADONAI had made the army of the Syrians
to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great
army: and they said one to another, Behold, the king of Israel has hired
against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come
on us.
7 Therefore they arose and fled in the
twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their donkeys, even the
camp as it was, and fled for their life.
8 When these lepers came to the outermost part
of the camp, they went into one tent, and ate and drink, and carried there
silver, and gold, and clothing, and went and hid it. Then they came back, and
entered into another tent, and carried there also, and went and hid it.
9 Then they said one to another, “We aren’t
doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we keep silent. If we wait
until the morning light, punishment will overtake us. Now therefore come, let
us go and tell the king’s household.”
10 So they came and called to the porter of the
city; and they told them, saying, “We came to the camp of the Syrians, and,
behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but the horses tied, and
the donkeys tied, and the tents as they were.”
11 He called the porters; and they told it to
the king’s household within.
12 The king arose in the night, and said to his
servants, “I will now show you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that
we are hungry. Therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in
the field, saying, ‘When they come out of the city, we shall take them alive,
and get into the city.’”
13 One of his servants answered, “Please let
some take five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city. Behold,
they are like all the multitude of Israel who are left in it. Behold, they are
like all the multitude of Israel who are consumed. Let us send and see.”
14 They took therefore two chariots with
horses; and the king sent after the army of the Syrians, saying, “Go and see.”
15 They went after them to the Jordan; and
behold, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had
cast away in their haste. The messengers returned, and told the king.
16 The people went out, and plundered the camp
of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two
measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of YHWH!
17 The king appointed the captain on whose hand
he leaned to be in charge of the gate: and the people trod on him in the gate,
and he died as the man of ELOHIM had said, who spoke when the king came down to
him.
18 It happened, as the man of ELOHIM had spoken
to the king, saying, “Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of
fine flour for a shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of
Samaria;”
19 and that captain answered the man of ELOHIM,
and said, “Now, behold, if YHWH should make windows in heaven, might such a
thing be?” and he said, “Behold, you shall see it with your eyes, but shall not
eat of it.”
20 It happened like that to him; for the people
trod on him in the gate, and he died.
Ephesians
5.
1 . Walk in Love. .
Be therefore imitators of ELOHIM,
as beloved children.
2 Walk in love, even as Messiah also loved you,
and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to ELOHIM for a
sweet-smelling fragrance.
3 But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness,
or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes holy ones;
4 nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor
jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks.
5 Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral
person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any
inheritance in the Kingdom of Messiah and ELOHIM!
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words. For
because of these things, the wrath of ELOHIM comes on the children of
disobedience.
7 Therefore don’t be partakers with them.
8 . Walk in Light. .
For you were once darkness, but
are now light in ADONAI. Walk as children of light,
9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all
goodness and righteousness and truth,
10 proving what is well pleasing to ADONAI.
11 Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works
of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
12 For the things which are done by them in
secret, it is a shame even to speak of.
13 But all things, when they are reproved, are
revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.
14 Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep,
and arise from the dead, and Messiah will shine on you.”
15 . Walk in Wisdom. .
Therefore watch carefully how you
walk, not as unwise, but as wise;
16 redeeming the time, because the days are
evil.
17 Therefore don’t be foolish, but understand
what the will of ADONAI is.
18 Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is
dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
19 speaking to one another in psalms, hymns,
and spiritual songs; singing, and making melody in your heart to ADONAI;
20 giving thanks always concerning all things
in the name of our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah, to ELOHIM, even the Father;
21 subjecting yourselves one to another in the
fear of Messiah.
22 . Marriage--Messiah and the Assembly.
.
Wives, be subject to your own
husbands, as to ADONAI.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and
Messiah also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
24 But as the assembly is subject to Messiah,
so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Messiah
also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed
it by the washing of water with the word,
27 that he might present the assembly to
himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it
should be holy and without blemish.
28 Even so husbands also ought to love their
own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but
nourishes and cherishes it, even as ADONAI also does the assembly;
30 because we are members of his body, of his
flesh and bones.
31 “For this cause a man will leave his father
and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.”
32 This mystery is great, but I speak
concerning Messiah and of the assembly.
33 Nevertheless each of you must also love his
own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Saturday - Shabbat -
Parasha Tazria-Metzora - She Conceives - Person with Skin Disease.
Ephesians 6:1-24.
Tazria-Metzora
(continued):
Ephesians
6:1-24.
1 . Children and Parents. .
Children, obey your parents in
ADONAI, for this is right.
2 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the
first commandment with a promise:
3 “that it may be well with you, and you may
live long on the earth.”
4 You fathers, don’t provoke your children to
wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of ADONAI.
5 . Bondservants and Masters. .
Servants, be obedient to those who
according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness
of your heart, as to Messiah;
6 not in the way of service only when eyes are
on you, as men pleasers; but as servants of Messiah, doing the will of ELOHIM
from the heart;
7 with good will doing service, as to ADONAI,
and not to men;
8 knowing that whatever good thing each one
does, he will receive the same again from ADONAI, whether he is bound or free.
9 You masters, do the same things to them, and
give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in
heaven, and there is no partiality with him.
10 . The Whole Armor of ELOHIM. .
Finally, be strong in ADONAI, and
in the strength of his might.
11 Put on the whole armor of ELOHIM, that you
may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and
blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s
rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of
wickedness in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore, put on the whole armor of ELOHIM,
that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to
stand.
14 Stand therefore, having the utility belt of
truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of
righteousness,
15 and having fitted your feet with the
preparation of the Good News of peace;
16 above all, taking up the shield of faith,
with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the word of ELOHIM;
18 with all prayer and requests, praying at all
times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and
requests for all the holy ones:
19 on my behalf, that utterance may be given to
me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good
News,
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that
in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
21 . A Gracious Greeting. .
But that you also may know my
affairs, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant in
ADONAI, will make known to you all things;
22 whom I have sent to you for this very
purpose, that you may know our state, and that he may comfort your hearts.
23 Peace be to the brothers, and love with
faith, from ELOHIM the Father and ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah.
24 Grace be with all those who love our ADONAI
YESHUA the Messiah with incorruptible love. Amen.
