Sunday - Day 1 before Shabbat - Parasha Behar-Bechukotai - On the Mountain - In My Decrees.

Leviticus 25.,26:1-2,  2 Thessalonians 1.

Behar:

Leviticus 25.,26:1-2.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Sabbath of the Seventh Year. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

YHWH said to Moses in Mount Sinai,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a Sabbath to YHWH!
3 Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather in its fruits;
4 but in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to YHWH! You shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard.
5 What grows of itself in your harvest you shall not reap, and the grapes of your undressed vine you shall not gather. It shall be a year of solemn rest for the land.
6 The Sabbath of the land shall be for food for you; for yourself, for your servant, for your maid, for your hired servant, and for your stranger, who lives as a foreigner with you.
7 For your livestock also, and for the animals that are in your land, shall all its increase be for food.

8
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Year of Jubilee. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

“‘You shall count off seven Sabbaths of years, seven times seven years; and there shall be to you the days of seven Sabbaths of years, even forty-nine years.
9 Then you shall sound the loud shofar on the tenth day of the seventh month. On the Day of Atonement you shall sound the shofar throughout all your land.
10 You shall make the fiftieth year holy, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee to you; and each of you shall return to his own property, and each of you shall return to his family.
11 That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee to you. In it you shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself, nor gather from the undressed vines.
12 For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you. You shall eat of its increase out of the field.
13 “‘In this Year of Jubilee each of you shall return to his property.
14 “‘If you sell anything to your neighbor, or buy from your neighbor, you shall not wrong one another.
15 According to the number of years after the Jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor. According to the number of years of the crops he shall sell to you.
16 According to the length of the years you shall increase its price, and according to the shortness of the years you shall diminish its price; for he is selling the number of the crops to you.
17 You shall not wrong one another; but you shall fear your ELOHIM: for I am YHWH your ELOHIM!

18
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Provisions for the Seventh Year. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

“‘Therefore you shall do my statutes, and keep my ordinances and do them; and you shall dwell in the land in safety.
19 The land shall yield its fruit, and you shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.
20 If you said, “What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase;”
21 then I will command my blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for the three years.
22 You shall sow the eighth year, and eat of the fruits, the old store; until the ninth year, until its fruits come in, you shall eat the old store.

23
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Redemption of Property. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

“‘The land shall not be sold in perpetuity, for the land is mine; for you are strangers and live as foreigners with me.
24 In all the land of your possession you shall grant a redemption for the land.
25 “‘If your brother becomes poor, and sells some of his possessions, then his kinsman who is next to him shall come, and redeem that which his brother has sold.
26 If a man has no one to redeem it, and he becomes prosperous and finds sufficient means to redeem it;
27 then let him reckon the years since its sale, and restore the surplus to the man to whom he sold it; and he shall return to his property.
28 But if he isn’t able to get it back for himself, then what he has sold shall remain in the hand of him who has bought it until the Year of Jubilee: and in the Jubilee it shall be released, and he shall return to his property.
29 “‘If a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it has been sold. For a full year he shall have the right of redemption.
30 If it isn’t redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be made sure in perpetuity to him who bought it, throughout his generations. It shall not be released in the Jubilee.
31 But the houses of the villages which have no wall around them shall be reckoned with the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall be released in the Jubilee.
32 “‘Nevertheless the cities of the Levites, the houses in the cities of their possession, the Levites may redeem at any time.
33 The Levites may redeem the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, and it shall be released in the Jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.
34 But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

35
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Lending to the Poor. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

“‘If your brother has become poor, and his hand can’t support him among you; then you shall uphold him. He shall live with you like an alien and a temporary resident.
36 Take no interest from him or profit, but fear your ELOHIM; that your brother may live among you.
37 You shall not lend him your money at interest, nor give him your food for profit.
38 I am YHWH your ELOHIM, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your ELOHIM!

39
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Teaching and Instruction Concerning Slavery. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

“‘If your brother has grown poor among you, and sells himself to you; you shall not make him to serve as a slave.
40 As a hired servant, and as a temporary resident, he shall be with you; he shall serve with you until the Year of Jubilee:
41 then he shall go out from you, he and his children with him, and shall return to his own family, and to the possession of his fathers.
42 For they are my servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. They shall not be sold as slaves.
43 You shall not rule over him with harshness, but shall fear your ELOHIM!
44 “‘As for your male and your female slaves, whom you may have; of the nations that are around you, from them you may buy male and female slaves.
45 Moreover of the children of the aliens who live among you, of them you may buy, and of their families who are with you, which they have conceived in your land; and they will be your property.
46 You may make them an inheritance for your children after you, to hold for a possession; of them may you take your slaves forever: but over your brothers the children of Israel you shall not rule, one over another, with harshness.
47 “‘If an alien or temporary resident with you becomes rich, and your brother beside him has grown poor, and sells himself to the stranger or foreigner living among you, or to a member of the stranger’s family;
48 after he is sold he may be redeemed. One of his brothers may redeem him;
49 or his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or any who is a close relative to him of his family may redeem him; or if he has grown rich, he may redeem himself.
50 He shall reckon with him who bought him from the year that he sold himself to him to the Year of Jubilee: and the price of his sale shall be according to the number of years; according to the time of a hired servant shall he be with him.
51 If there are yet many years, according to them he shall give back the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.
52 If there remain but a few years to the year of jubilee, then he shall reckon with him; according to his years of service he shall give back the price of his redemption.
53 As a servant hired year by year shall he be with him: he shall not rule with harshness over him in your sight.
54 If he isn’t redeemed by these means, then he shall be released in the Year of Jubilee, he, and his children with him.
55 For to me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. I am YHWH your ELOHIM!

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Promise of Blessing and Retribution. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

“‘You shall make for yourselves no idols, neither shall you raise up an engraved image or a pillar, neither shall you place any figured stone in your land, to bow down to it: for I am YHWH your ELOHIM!
2 “‘You shall keep my Sabbaths, and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am YHWH!

2 Thessalonians 1.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Greeting. .               2 Paul’s Second Letter to the Thessalonians! \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the assembly of the Thessalonians in ELOHIM our Father, and ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah:
2 Grace to you and peace from ELOHIM our Father and ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah.

3
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. ELOHIM's Final Judgment and Glory. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

We are bound to always give thanks to ELOHIM for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you towards one another abounds;
4 so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of ELOHIM for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.
5 This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgment of ELOHIM, to the end that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of ELOHIM, for which you also suffer.
6 Since it is a righteous thing with ELOHIM to repay affliction to those who afflict you,
7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us, when ADONAI YESHUA is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,
8 giving vengeance to those who don’t know ELOHIM, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our ADONAI YESHUA,
9 who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of ADONAI and from the glory of his might,
10 when he comes to be glorified in his holy ones, and to be admired among all those who have believed (because our testimony to you was believed) in that day.
11 To this end we also pray always for you, that our ELOHIM may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith, with power;
12 that the name of our ADONAI YESHUA may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our ELOHIM and ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah.

Monday - Day 2 before Shabbat - Parasha Behar-Bechukotai - On the Mountain - In My Decrees.

Jeremiah 32:6-27,  2 Thessalonians 2.

Jeremiah 32:6-27.

6 Jeremiah said, The word of YHWH came to me, saying,
7 Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle shall come to you, saying, Buy my field that is in Anathoth; for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.
8 So Hanamel my uncle’s son came to me in the court of the guard according to the word of YHWH, and said to me, Please buy my field that is in Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption is yours; buy it for yourself. Then I knew that this was the word of YHWH!
9 I bought the field that was in Anathoth of Hanamel my uncle’s son, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.
10 I subscribed the deed, and sealed it, and called witnesses, and weighed him the money in the balances.
11 So I took the deed of the purchase, both that which was sealed, containing the terms and conditions, and that which was open;
12 and I delivered the deed of the purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the presence of Hanamel my uncle’s son, and in the presence of the witnesses who subscribed the deed of the purchase, before all the Jews who sat in the court of the guard.
13 I commanded Baruch before them, saying,
14 Thus says YHWH of Hosts, the ELOHIM of Israel: Take these deeds, this deed of the purchase which is sealed, and this deed which is open, and put them in an earthen vessel; that they may continue many days.
15 For thus says YHWH of Hosts, the ELOHIM of Israel: Houses and fields and vineyards shall yet again be bought in this land.

16
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Jeremiah Prays for Understanding. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

Now after I had delivered the deed of the purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to YHWH, saying,
17 Ah ADONAI YHWH! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm; there is nothing too hard for you,
18 who show loving kindness to thousands, and recompense the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them; the great, the mighty ELOHIM, YHWH of Hosts is his name;
19 great in counsel, and mighty in work; whose eyes are open on all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
20 who performed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day, both in Israel and among other men; and made yourself a name, as in this day;
21 and brought forth your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terror;
22 and gave them this land, which you swore to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
23 and they came in, and possessed it, but they didn’t obey your voice, neither walked in your Torah (teaching and instruction); they have done nothing of all that you commanded them to do: therefore you have caused all this evil to come on them.
24 Behold, the mounds, they have come to the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Kasdim who fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence; and what you have spoken has happened; and behold, you see it.
25 You have said to me, ADONAI YHWH, Buy the field for money, and call witnesses; whereas the city is given into the hand of the Kasdim.

26 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. ELOHIM's Assurance of the People's Return. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

Then came the word of YHWH to Jeremiah, saying,
27 Behold, I am YHWH, the ELOHIM of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

2 Thessalonians 2.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Great Apostasy. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah, and our gathering together to him, we ask you
2 not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Messiah had come.
3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the departure comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction,
4 he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called ELOHIM or that is worshiped; so that he sits as ELOHIM in the temple of ELOHIM, setting himself up as ELOHIM!
5 Don’t you remember that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?
6 Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.
7 For the mystery of Torah-lessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.
8 Then the Torah-less one will be revealed, whom ADONAI will kill with the breath of his mouth, and destroy by the manifestation of his coming;
9 even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn’t receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 Because of this, ELOHIM sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie;
12 that they all might be judged who didn’t believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

13 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Stand Fast. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

But we are bound to always give thanks to ELOHIM for you, brothers loved by ADONAI, because ELOHIM chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth;
14 to which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah.
15 So then, brothers, stand firm, and hold the traditions which you were taught by us, whether by word, or by letter.
16 Now our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah himself, and ELOHIM our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,
17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word.

Tuesday - Day 3 before Shabbat - Parasha Behar-Bechukotai - On the Mountain - In My Decrees.

2 Thessalonians 3:1-18.

2 Thessalonians 3:1-18.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Pray for Us. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of ADONAI may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you;
2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.
3 But ADONAI is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.
4 We have confidence in ADONAI concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.
5 May ADONAI direct your hearts into the love of ELOHIM, and into the patience of Messiah.

6
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Warning Against Idleness. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion, and not after the tradition which they received from us.
7 For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn’t behave ourselves rebelliously among you,
8 neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you;
9 not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.
10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.”
11 For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies.
12 Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
13 But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing well.
14 If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man, that you have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.
15 Don’t count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

16
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Benediction. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

Now may ADONAI of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. ADONAI be with you all.
17 The greeting of me, Paul, with my own hand, which is the sign in every letter: this is how I write.
18 The grace of our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah be with you all. Amen.

Wednesday - Day 4 before Shabbat - Parasha Behar-Bechukotai - On the Mountain - In My Decrees.

Leviticus 26:3-to-end,  1 Timothy 1.

Bechukotai:

Leviticus 26:3-to-end.

3 “‘If you walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
4 then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 Your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach to the sowing time; and you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6 “‘I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one will make you afraid; and I will remove evil animals out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
7 You shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
8 Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9 “‘I will have respect for you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.
10 You shall eat old store long kept, and you shall move out the old because of the new.
11 I will set my tent among you: and my soul won’t abhor you.
12 I will walk among you, and will be your ELOHIM, and you will be my people.
13 I am YHWH your ELOHIM, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves; and I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you go upright.
14 “‘But if you will not listen to me, and will not do all these commandments;
15 and if you shall reject my statutes, and if your soul abhors my ordinances, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant;
16 I also will do this to you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall consume the eyes, and make the soul to pine away; and you will sow your seed in vain, for your enemies will eat it.
17 I will set my face against you, and you will be struck before your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you; and you will flee when no one pursues you.
18 “‘If you in spite of these things will not listen to me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.
19 I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your sky like iron, and your soil like brass;
20 and your strength will be spent in vain; for your land won’t yield its increase, neither will the trees of the land yield their fruit.
21 “‘If you walk contrary to me, and won’t listen to me, then I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins.
22 I will send the wild animals among you, which will rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and make you few in number; and your roads will become desolate.
23 “‘If by these things you won’t be reformed to me, but will walk contrary to me;
24 then I will also walk contrary to you; and I will strike you, even I, seven times for your sins.
25 I will bring a sword upon you, that will execute the vengeance of the covenant; and you will be gathered together within your cities: and I will send the pestilence among you; and you will be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
26 When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight: and you shall eat, and not be satisfied.
27 “‘If you in spite of this won’t listen to me, but walk contrary to me;
28 then I will walk contrary to you in wrath; and I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 You will eat the flesh of your sons, and you will eat the flesh of your daughters.
30 I will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul will abhor you.
31 I will lay your cities waste, and will bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not take delight in the sweet fragrance of your offerings.
32 I will bring the land into desolation; and your enemies that dwell therein will be astonished at it.
33 I will scatter you among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you: and your land will be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.
34 Then the land will enjoy its sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you are in your enemies’ land. Even then the land will rest and enjoy its sabbaths.
35 As long as it lies desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it didn’t have in your sabbaths, when you lived on it.
36 “‘As for those of you who are left, I will se nd a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies: and the sound of a driven leaf will put them to flight; and they shall flee, as one flees from the sword; and they will fall when no one pursues.
37 They will stumble over one another, as it were before the sword, when no one pursues: and you will have no power to stand before your enemies.
38 You will perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies will eat you up.
39 Those of you who are left will pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
40 “‘If they confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and also that, because they walked contrary to me,
41 I also walked contrary to them, and brought them into the land of their enemies: if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled, and they then accept the punishment of their iniquity;
42 then I will remember my covenant with Jacob; and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham; and I will remember the land.
43 The land also will be left by them, and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them: and they will accept the punishment of their iniquity; because, even because they rejected my ordinances, and their soul abhorred my statutes.
44 Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am YHWH their ELOHIM;
45 but I will for their sake remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their ELOHIM! I am YHWH!’”
46 These are the statutes, ordinances and Torah (teachings and instructions), which YHWH made between him and the children of Israel in Mount Sinai by Moses.

1 Timothy 1.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Greeting. .               1 Paul’s First Letter to Timothy! \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

Paul, an emissary of Messiah YESHUA according to the commandment of ELOHIM our Savior, and Messiah YESHUA our hope;
2 to Timothy, my true child in faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from ELOHIM our Father and Messiah YESHUA our ADONAI.

3
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. No Other Doctrine. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

As I urged you when I was going into Macedonia, stay at Ephesus that you might command certain men not to teach a different doctrine,
4 neither to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which cause disputes, rather than ELOHIM’s stewardship, which is in faith
5 but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith;
6 from which things some, having missed the mark, have turned aside to vain talking;
7 desiring to be teachers of the Torah (teaching and instruction), though they understand neither what they say, nor about what they strongly affirm.
8 But we know that the Torah (teaching and instruction) is good, if a man uses it legally,
9 as knowing this, that Torah (teaching and instruction) is not made for a righteous man, but for the Torah-less and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;
11 according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed ELOHIM, which was committed to my trust.

12
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Glory to ELOHIM for His Grace. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

And I thank him who enabled me, Messiah YESHUA our ADONAI, because he counted me faithful, appointing me to service;
13 although I was before a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
14 The grace of our ADONAI abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Messiah YESHUA!
15 The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Messiah YESHUA came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
16 However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, YESHUA the Messiah might display all his patience, for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.
17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to ELOHIM who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

18
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Fight the Good Fight. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

This instruction I commit to you, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which led the way to you, that by them you may wage the good warfare;
19 holding faith and a good conscience; which some having thrust away made a shipwreck concerning the faith;
20 of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I delivered to Satan, that they might be taught not to blaspheme.

Thursday -Day 5 before Shabbat - Parasha Behar-Bechukotai - On the Mountain - In My Decrees.

Leviticus 27:1-34,  1 Timothy 2.

Leviticus 27:1-34.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Redeeming Persons and Property Dedicated to ELOHIM. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When a man makes a vow, the persons shall be for YHWH by your valuation.
3 Your valuation shall be of a male from twenty years old even to sixty years old, even your valuation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
4 If it is a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels.
5 If the person is from five years old even to twenty years old, then your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
6 If the person is from a month old even to five years old, then your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver.
7 If the person is from sixty years old and upward; if it is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
8 But if he is poorer than your valuation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to the ability of him who vowed shall the priest value him.
9 “‘If it is an animal, of which men offer an offering to YHWH, all that any man gives of such to YHWH becomes holy.
10 He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change animal for animal, then both it and that for which it is changed shall be holy.
11 If it is any unclean animal, of which they do not offer as an offering to YHWH, then he shall set the animal before the priest;
12 and the priest shall value it, whether it is good or bad. As you the priest values it, so shall it be.
13 But if he will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of it to its valuation.
14 “‘When a man dedicates his house to be holy to YHWH, then the priest shall evaluate it, whether it is good or bad: as the priest shall evaluate it, so shall it stand.
15 If he who dedicates it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall be his.
16 “‘If a man dedicates to YHWH part of the field of his possession, then your valuation shall be according to the seed for it: the sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.
17 If he dedicates his field from the Year of Jubilee, according to your valuation it shall stand.
18 But if he dedicates his field after the Jubilee, then the priest shall reckon to him the money according to the years that remain to the Year of Jubilee; and an abatement shall be made from your valuation.
19 If he who dedicated the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall remain his.
20 If he will not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more;
21 but the field, when it goes out in the Jubilee, shall be holy to YHWH, as a field devoted; it shall be owned by the priests.
22 “‘If he dedicates to YHWH a field which he has bought, which is not of the field of his possession,
23 then the priest shall reckon to him the worth of your valuation up to the Year of Jubilee; and he shall give your valuation on that day, as a holy thing to YHWH!
24 In the Year of Jubilee the field shall return to him from whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land belongs.
25 All your valuations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs to the shekel.
26 “‘Only the firstborn among animals, which is made a firstborn to YHWH, no man may dedicate it; whether an ox or sheep, it is YHWH’s.
27 If it is an unclean animal, then he shall buy it back according to your valuation, and shall add to it the fifth part of it: or if it isn’t redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your valuation.
28 “‘Notwithstanding, no devoted thing, that a man shall devote to YHWH of all that he has, whether of man or animal, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy to YHWH!
29 “‘No one devoted, who shall be devoted from among men, shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.
30 “‘All the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is YHWH’s. It is holy to YHWH!
31 If a man redeems anything of his tithe, he shall add a fifth part to it.
32 All the tithe of the herds or the flocks, whatever passes under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to YHWH!
33 He shall not search whether it is good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he changes it at all, then both it and that for which it is changed shall be holy. It shall not be redeemed.’”
34 These are the commandments which YHWH commanded Moses for the children of Israel on Mount Sinai.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Pray for All Men. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men:
2 for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of ELOHIM our Savior;
4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one ELOHIM, and one mediator between ELOHIM and men, the man Messiah YESHUA,
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;
7 to which I was appointed a proclaimer and an emissary (I am telling the truth in Messiah, not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Men and Women in the Assembly. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.
9 In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing;
10 but (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.
11 Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.
12 But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Havah.
14 Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
15 but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and sanctification with sobriety.

Friday - Day 6 before Shabbat - Parasha Behar-Bechukotai - On the Mountain - In My Decrees.

Jeremiah 16:19-to-end,17:1-14.

Jeremiah 16:19-to-end,17:1-14.

19 YHWH, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, to you shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, vanity and things in which there is no profit.
20 Shall a man make to himself gods, which yet are no gods?
21 Therefore, behold, I will cause them to know, this once will I cause them to know my hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is YHWH!

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Judah's Sin and Punishment. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is engraved on the tablet of their heart, and on the horns of your altars;
2 while their children remember their altars and their Asherim by the green trees on the high hills.
3 My mountain in the field, I will give your substance and all your treasures for a spoil, and your high places, because of sin, throughout all your borders.
4 You, even of yourself, shall discontinue from your heritage that I gave you; and I will cause you to serve your enemies in the land which you don’t know: for you have kindled a fire in my anger which shall burn forever.
5 Thus says YHWH: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from YHWH!
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabited.
7 Blessed is the man who trusts in YHWH, and whose trust YHWH is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?
10 I, YHWH, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.
11 As the partridge that sits on eggs which she has not laid, so is he who gets riches, and not by right; in the midst of his days they shall leave him, and at his end he shall be a fool.
12 A glorious throne, set on high from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary.
13 YHWH, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you shall be disappointed. Those who depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken YHWH, the spring of living waters.

14 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Jeremiah Prays for Deliverance. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

Heal me, O YHWH, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise.

Saturday - Shabbat - Parasha Behar-Bechukotai - On the Mountain - In My Decrees.

  1 Timothy 3.

1 Timothy 3.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Qualifications of Overseers. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

This is a faithful saying: if a man seeks the office of an overseer, he desires a good work.
2 The overseer therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, modest, hospitable, good at teaching;
3 not a drinker, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous;
4 one who rules his own house well, having children in subjection with all reverence;
5 (but if a man doesn’t know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the assembly of ELOHIM?)
6 not a new convert, lest being puffed up he fall into the same condemnation as the devil.
7 Moreover he must have good testimony from those who are outside, to avoid falling into reproach and the snare of the devil.

8
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Qualifications of Deacons. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

Shammashim, in the same way, must be reverent, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for money;
9 holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10 Let them also first be tested; then let them serve if they are blameless.
11 Their wives in the same way must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
12 Let shammashim be husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
13 For those who have served well gain for themselves a good standing, and great boldness in the faith which is in Messiah YESHUA!

14
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Great Mystery. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\

These things I write to you, hoping to come to you shortly;
15 but if I wait long, that you may know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of ELOHIM, which is the assembly of the living ELOHIM, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16 Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great:  ELOHIM was revealed in the flesh,  justified in the spirit,  seen by angels,  preached among the nations,  believed on in the world,  and received up in glory.
