Day 6 - Counting Between The Straits!

Lamentations 2:14-20,  Numbers 13:25,  Hosea 2:14-23.

Lamentations 2:14-20.

14 Your prophets have seen for you false and foolish visions;  They have not uncovered your iniquity, to bring back your captivity,  but have seen for you false oracles and causes of banishment.
15 All that pass by clap their hands at you.  They hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying,  Is this the city that men called The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?
16 All your enemies have opened their mouth wide against you;  They hiss and gnash the teeth; they say, We have swallowed her up;  Certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.
17 YHWH has done that which he purposed; he has fulfilled his word that he commanded in the days of old;  He has thrown down, and has not pitied:  He has caused the enemy to rejoice over you; he has exalted the horn of your adversaries.
18 Their heart cried to ADONAI:  wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night;  Give yourself no respite; don’t let the apple of your eye cease.
19 Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches;  Pour out your heart like water before the face of ADONAI:  Lift up your hands toward him for the life of your young children, that faint for hunger at the head of every street.
20 Look, YHWH, and see to whom you have done thus!  Shall the women eat their fruit, the children that are dandled in the hands?  Shall the priest and the prophet be killed in the sanctuary of ADONAI?

Event: 12 spies returned with bad report 1312 BC.

Numbers 13:25.

25 They returned from spying out the land at the end of forty days.

But The Most High transforms defeats into Victory:

Hosea 2:14-23.

14 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. ELOHIM's Mercy on His People. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

“Therefore, behold, I will allure her,  and bring her into the wilderness,  and speak tenderly to her.
15 I will give her vineyards from there,  and the valley of Achor for a door of hope;  and she will respond there,  as in the days of her youth,  and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
16 It will be in that day,” says YHWH,  “that you will call me ‘my husband,’  and no longer call me ‘my master.’
17 For I will take away the names of the Baals out of her mouth,  and they will no longer be mentioned by name.
18 In that day I will make a covenant for them with the animals of the field,  and with the birds of the sky,  and with the creeping things of the ground.  I will break the bow, the sword, and the battle out of the land,  and will make them lie down safely.
19 I will betroth you to me forever.  Yes, I will betroth you to me in righteousness, in justice, in loving kindness, and in compassion.
20 I will even betroth you to me in faithfulness;  and you shall know YHWH!
21 It will happen in that day, I will respond,” says YHWH,  “I will respond to the heavens,  and they will respond to the earth;
22 and the earth will respond to the grain, and the new wine, and the oil;  and they will respond to Jezreel.
23 I will sow her to me in the earth;  and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy;  and I will tell those who were not my people, ‘You are my people;’  and they will say, ‘My ELOHIM!’”
