Day
10 - Counting Between The Straits!
Lamentations 3:20-26,
Micah 3:12, Hebrews 12:5-10.
Lamentations
3:20-26.
20 My soul still remembers them, and
is bowed down within me.
21 This I recall to my mind; therefore have I
hope.
22 It is of YHWH’s loving kindnesses that we
are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail.
23 They are new every morning; great is your
faithfulness.
24 YHWH is my portion, says my soul; therefore
will I hope in him.
25 YHWH is good to those who wait for him, to
the soul that seeks him.
26 It is good that a man should hope and
quietly wait for the salvation of YHWH!
Event:
130 CE Emperor Hadrian plows Jerusalem over.
Micah
3:12.
12 Therefore Zion for your sake will
be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem
will become heaps of rubble, and the
mountain of the temple like the high places of a forest.
But
The Most High transforms defeats into Victory:
Hebrews
12:5-10.
5 and you have forgotten the
exhortation which reasons with you as with children, “My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of ADONAI, nor faint when you are reproved by him;
6 For whom ADONAI loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.”
7 It is for discipline that you endure. ELOHIM
deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t
discipline?
8 But if you are without discipline, of which
all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not children.
9 Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh
to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in
subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they indeed, for a few days, punished us
as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his
holiness.
