Sunday. Day 1 before Shabbat - Parasha Pinchas - Phinehas.

Numbers 25:10-to-end,  Numbers 26.

Numbers 25:10-to-end.

10 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
11 “Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, in that he was jealous with my jealousy among them, so that I didn’t consume the children of Israel in my jealousy.
12 Therefore say, ‘Behold, I give to him my covenant of peace:
13 and it shall be to him, and to his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was jealous for his ELOHIM, and made atonement for the children of Israel.’”
14 Now the name of the man of Israel that was slain, who was slain with the Midianite woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a fathers’ house among the Simeonites.
15 The name of the Midianite woman who was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head of the people of a fathers’ house in Midian.
16 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
17 “Harass the Midianites, and strike them;
18 for they harassed you with their wiles, with which they have deceived you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of the prince of Midian, their sister, who was slain on the day of the plague in the matter of Peor.”

Numbers 26.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Second Census of Israel. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

It happened after the plague, that YHWH spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
2 “Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers’ houses, all who are able to go forth to war in Israel.”
3 Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
4 “Take a census, from twenty years old and upward; as YHWH commanded Moses and the children of Israel.” These are those that came out of the land of Egypt.

27 These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those who were numbered of them, sixty thousand five hundred.
28 The sons of Joseph after their families: Manasseh and Ephraim.
29 The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir became the father of Gilead; of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.

32 and Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
33 Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
34 These are the families of Manasseh; and those who were numbered of them were fifty-two thousand seven hundred.
35 These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthelahites; of Becher, the family of the Becherites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.
36 These are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
37 These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those who were numbered of them, thirty-two thousand five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.
38 The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;

41 These are the sons of Benjamin after their families; and those who were numbered of them were forty-five thousand six hundred.
42 These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.
43 All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those who were numbered of them, were sixty-four thousand four hundred.
44 The sons of Asher after their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Berites.
45 Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
46 The name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.
47 These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those who were numbered of them, fifty-three thousand and four hundred.
48 The sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;
49 of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
50 These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were numbered of them were forty-five thousand four hundred.
51 These are those who were numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred one thousand seven hundred thirty.
52 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
53 “To these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.
54 To the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance: to everyone according to those who were numbered of him shall his inheritance be given.
55 Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.
56 According to the lot shall their inheritance be divided between the more and the fewer.”
57 These are those who were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58 These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korahites. Kohath became the father of Amram.
59 The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt: and she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60 To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
61 Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before YHWH!
62 Those who were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
63 These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
64 But among these there was not a man of them who were numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
65 For YHWH had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. There was not left a man of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

Monday. Day 2 before Shabbat - Parasha Pinchas - Phinehas.

Numbers 27,  Hebrews 10.

Numbers 27.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Inheritance Teaching and Instructions. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Then drew near the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.
2 They stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, at the door of the Tent of Meeting, saying,
3 “Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not among the company of those who gathered themselves together against YHWH in the company of Korah: but he died in his own sin; and he had no sons.
4 Why should the name of our father be taken away from among his family, because he had no son? Give to us a possession among the brothers of our father.”
5 Moses brought their cause before YHWH!
6 YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
7 “The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: you shall surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father’s brothers; and you shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.
8 You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a man dies, and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.
9 If he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers.
10 If he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father’s brothers.
11 If his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his kinsman who is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be to the children of Israel a statute and ordinance, as YHWH commanded Moses.’”

12
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Joshua the Next Leader of Israel. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

YHWH said to Moses, “Go up into this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.
13 When you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered;
14 because you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the waters before their eyes.” (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)
15 Moses spoke to YHWH, saying,
16 “Let YHWH, the ELOHIM of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,
17 who may go out before them, and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out, and who may bring them in; that the congregation of YHWH not be as sheep which have no shepherd.”
18 YHWH said to Moses, “Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him;
19 and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and commission him in their sight.
20 You shall put of your honor on him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey.
21 He shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before YHWH: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.”
22 Moses did as YHWH commanded him; and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:
23 and he laid his hands on him, and commissioned him, as YHWH spoke by Moses.

Hebrews 10.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Animal Sacrifices Insufficient. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

For the Torah, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.
2 Or else wouldn’t they have ceased to be offered, because the worshippers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?
3 But in those sacrifices there is a yearly reminder of sins.
4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.

5
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Messiah's Death Fulfills ELOHIM's Will. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Therefore when he comes into the world, he says,  “Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire,  but you prepared a body for me;
6 You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me)  to do your will, O ELOHIM!’”
8 Previously saying, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn’t desire, neither had pleasure in them” (those which are offered according to the Torah),
9 then he has said, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,
10 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of YESHUA the Messiah once for all.

11
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Messiah's Death Perfects the Sanctified. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,
12 but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of ELOHIM;
13 from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet.
14 For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after saying,
16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them:  ‘After those days,’ says ADONAI,  ‘I will put my Torah (teachings and instructions) on their heart,  I will also write them on their mind;’” then he says,
17 “I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more.”
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

19
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Hold Fast Your Confession. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of YESHUA,
20 by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 and having a great priest over the house of ELOHIM,
22 let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water,
23 let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
24 Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,
25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.

26
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Just Live by Faith. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,
27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.
28 A man who disregards the Torah of Moses dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses.
29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of ELOHIM, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him who said, “Vengeance belongs to me,” says ADONAI, “I will repay.” Again, “ADONAI will judge his people.”
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living ELOHIM!
32 But remember the former days, in which, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings;
33 partly, being exposed to both reproaches and oppressions; and partly, becoming partakers with those who were treated so.
34 For you both had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens.
35 Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.
36 For you need endurance so that, having done the will of ELOHIM, you may receive the promise.
37 “In a very little while,  he who comes will come, and will not wait.
38 But the righteous will live by faith.  If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”
39 But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.

Tuesday. Day 3 before Shabbat - Parasha Pinchas - Phinehas.

Numbers 28,  Hebrews 11.

Numbers 28.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Daily Offerings. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Command the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘My offering, my food for my offerings made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to me, you shall observe to offer to me in their due season.’
3 You shall tell them, ‘This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to YHWH: male lambs a year old without blemish, two day by day, for a continual burnt offering.
4 You shall offer the one lamb in the morning, and you shall offer the other lamb at evening;
5 with the tenth part of an efah of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil.
6 It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in Mount Sinai for a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to YHWH!
7 Its drink offering shall be the fourth part of a hin for the one lamb. You shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to YHWH in the holy place.
8 The other lamb you shall offer at evening: as the meal offering of the morning, and as the drink offering of it, you shall offer it, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to YHWH!

9
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Sabbath Offerings. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

“‘On the Sabbath day two male lambs a year old without blemish, and two tenth parts of an efah of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with oil, and the drink offering of it:
10 this is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering, and the drink offering of it.

11
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Monthly Offerings. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

“‘In the beginnings of your months you shall offer a burnt offering to YHWH: two young bulls, and one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;
12 and three tenth parts of an efah of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with oil, for each bull; and two tenth parts of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with oil, for the one ram;
13 and a tenth part of fine flour mixed with oil for a meal offering to every lamb; for a burnt offering of a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to YHWH!
14 Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, and the third part of a hin for the ram, and the fourth part of a hin for a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every month throughout the months of the year.
15 One male goat for a sin offering to YHWH; it shall be offered besides the continual burnt offering, and the drink offering of it.

16
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Offerings at Passover. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

“‘In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, is YHWH’s Passover.
17 On the fifteenth day of this month shall be a feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.
18 In the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no servile work;
19 but you shall offer an offering made by fire, a burnt offering to YHWH: two young bulls, and one ram, and seven male lambs a year old; they shall be to you without blemish;
20 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil: you shall offer three tenth parts for a bull, and two tenth parts for the ram.
21 You shall offer a tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs;
22 and one male goat for a sin offering, to make atonement for you.
23 You shall offer these besides the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.
24 In this way you shall offer daily, for seven days, the food of the offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to YHWH: it shall be offered besides the continual burnt offering, and the drink offering of it.
25 On the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation: you shall do no servile work.

26
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Offerings at the Feast of Weeks. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

“‘Also in the day of the first fruits, when you offer a new meal offering to YHWH in your feast of weeks, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work;
27 but you shall offer a burnt offering for a pleasant aroma to YHWH: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old;
28 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for each bull, two tenth parts for the one ram,
29 a tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs;
30 one male goat, to make atonement for you.
31 Besides the continual burnt offering, and the meal offering of it, you shall offer them (they shall be to you without blemish), and their drink offerings.

Hebrews 11.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. By Faith We Understand. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen.
2 For by this, the elders obtained testimony.
3 By faith, we understand that the universe has been framed by the word of ELOHIM, so that what is seen has not been made out of things which are visible.

4
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Faith at the Dawn of History. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

By faith, Abel offered to ELOHIM a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had testimony given to him that he was righteous, ELOHIM testifying with respect to his gifts; and through it he, being dead, still speaks.
5 By faith, Enoch was taken away, so that he wouldn’t see death, and he was not found, because ELOHIM translated him. For he has had testimony given to him that before his translation he had been well pleasing to ELOHIM!
6 Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to ELOHIM must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
7 By faith, Noah, being warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared a ship for the saving of his house, through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

8
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Faithful Abraham. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

By faith, Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out to the place which he was to receive for an inheritance. He went out, not knowing where he went.
9 By faith, he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a land not his own, dwelling in tents, with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.
10 For he looked for the city which has the foundations, whose builder and maker is ELOHIM!
11 By faith, even Sarah herself received power to conceive, and she bore a child when she was past age, since she counted him faithful who had promised.
12 Therefore as many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as innumerable as the sand which is by the sea shore, were fathered by one man, and him as good as dead.

13
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Heavenly Hope. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and embraced them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
14 For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own.
15 If indeed they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had enough time to return.
16 But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore ELOHIM is not ashamed of them, to be called their ELOHIM, for he has prepared a city for them.

17
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Faith of the Patriarchs. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

By faith, Abraham, being tested, offered up Isaac. Yes, he who had gladly received the promises was offering up his one and only son;
18 even he to whom it was said, “In Isaac will your seed be called;”
19 concluding that ELOHIM is able to raise up even from the dead. Figuratively speaking, he also did receive him back from the dead.
20 By faith, Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau, even concerning things to come.
21 By faith, Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.
22 By faith, Joseph, when his end was near, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel; and gave instructions concerning his bones.

23
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Faith of Moses. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

By faith, Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that he was a beautiful child, and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.
24 By faith, Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,
25 choosing rather to share ill treatment with ELOHIM’s people, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time;
26 accounting the reproach of Messiahship greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked to the reward.
27 By faith, he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
28 By faith, he kept the Passover, and the sprinkling of the blood, that the destroyer of the firstborn should not touch them.
29 By faith, they passed through the Red Sea as on dry land. When the Egyptians tried to do so, they were swallowed up.

30
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. By Faith They Overcame. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

By faith, the walls of Jericho fell down, after they had been encircled for seven days.
31 By faith, Rahab the prostitute, didn’t perish with those who were disobedient, having received the spies in peace.
32 What more shall I say? For the time would fail me if I told of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets;
33 who, through faith subdued kingdoms, worked out righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, grew mighty in war, and caused foreign armies to flee.
35 Women received their dead by resurrection. Others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.
36 Others were tried by mocking and scourging, yes, moreover by bonds and imprisonment.
37 They were stoned. They were sawn apart. They were tempted. They were slain with the sword. They went around in sheep skins and in goat skins; being destitute, afflicted, ill-treated
38 (of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in deserts, mountains, caves, and the holes of the earth.
39 These all, having had testimony given to them through their faith, didn’t receive the promise,
40 ELOHIM having provided some better thing concerning us, so that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

Numbers 29:1-11,  Hebrews 12.

Numbers 29:1-11.

6 besides the burnt offering of the new moon, and the meal offering of it, and the continual burnt offering and the meal offering of it, and their drink offerings, according to their ordinance, for a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to YHWH!

7
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Offerings on the Day of Atonement. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

“‘On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; and you shall afflict your souls: you shall do no kind of work;
8 but you shall offer a burnt offering to YHWH for a pleasant aroma: one young bull, one ram, seven male lambs a year old; they shall be to you without blemish;
9 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for the bull, two tenth parts for the one ram,
10 a tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs:
11 one male goat for a sin offering; besides the sin offering of atonement, and the continual burnt offering, and the meal offering of it, and their drink offerings.

Hebrews 12.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Race of Faith. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 looking to YESHUA, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of ELOHIM!

3
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Discipline of ELOHIM. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls.
4 You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin;
5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children,  “My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of ADONAI,  nor faint when you are reproved by him;
6 For whom ADONAI loves, he chastens,  and scourges every son whom he receives.”
7 It is for discipline that you endure. ELOHIM deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline?
8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not children.
9 Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they indeed, for a few days, punished us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.
11 All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.

12
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Renew Your Spiritual Vitality. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Therefore, lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,
13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that which is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.
14 Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see ADONAI,
15 looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of ELOHIM; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it;
16 lest there be any sexually immoral person, or profane person, like Esau, who sold his birthright for one meal.
17 For you know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for a change of mind though he sought it diligently with tears.

18
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Glorious Company. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

For you have not come to a mountain that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and to blackness, darkness, storm,
19 the sound of a shofar, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them,
20 for they could not stand that which was commanded, “If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned;”
21 and so fearful was the appearance, that Moses said, “I am terrified and trembling.”
22 But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living ELOHIM, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels,
23 to the general assembly and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to ELOHIM the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 to YESHUA, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.

25
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Hear the Heavenly Voice. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,
26 whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”
27 This phrase, “Yet once more,” signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve ELOHIM acceptably, with reverence and awe,
29 for our ELOHIM is a consuming fire.

Friday. Day 6 before Shabbat - Parasha Pinchas - Phinehas.

1 Kings 18:46-to-end,19:1-21.

1 Kings 18:46-to-end,19:1-21.

46 The hand of YHWH was on Elijah; and he tucked his cloak into his belt and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Elijah Escapes from Jezebel. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword.
2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I don’t make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time!”
3 When he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.
4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die, and said, “It is enough. Now, O YHWH, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.”
5 He lay down and slept under a juniper tree; and behold, an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat!”
6 He looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on the coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank, and lay down again.
7 The angel of YHWH came again the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.”
8 He arose, and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb the Mount of ELOHIM!
9 He came there to a cave, and lodged there; and behold, the word of YHWH came to him, and he said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
10 He said, “I have been very jealous for YHWH, the ELOHIM of Hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and slain your prophets with the sword. I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”

11
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. ELOHIM's Revelation to Elijah. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before YHWH!” Behold, YHWH passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before YHWH; but YHWH was not in the wind. After the wind an earthquake; but YHWH was not in the earthquake.
12 After the earthquake a fire passed; but YHWH was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
13 It was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. Behold, a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
14 He said, “I have been very jealous for YHWH, the ELOHIM of Hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and slain your prophets with the sword. I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”
15 YHWH said to him, “Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus. When you arrive, you shall anoint Hazael to be king over Syria.
16 You shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi to be king over Israel; and you shall anoint Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah to be prophet in your place.
17 It shall happen, that he who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and he who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.
18 Yet will I leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth which has not kissed him.”

19
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Elisha Follows Elijah. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

So he departed there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing, with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed over to him, and cast his mantle on him.
20 He left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, “Let me please kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.” He said to him, “Go back again; for what have I done to you?”
21 He returned from following him, and took the yoke of oxen, and killed them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave to the people, and they ate. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and served him.

Saturday  Shabbat - Parasha Pinchas - Phinehas.

Hebrews 13.

Hebrews 13.

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Concluding Moral Directions. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Let brotherly love continue.
2 Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.
3 Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.
4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but ELOHIM will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
5 Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”
6 So that with good courage we say,  “ADONAI is my helper. I will not fear.  What can man do to me?”

7
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Concluding Religious Directions . .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of ELOHIM, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.
8 YESHUA the Messiah is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
9 Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by food, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.
10 We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat.
11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp.
12 Therefore YESHUA also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.
13 Let us therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For we don’t have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come.
15 Through him, then, let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to ELOHIM continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.
16 But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices ELOHIM is well pleased.
17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy, and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.

18
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Prayer Requested. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.
19 I strongly urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner.

20
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Benediction, Final Exhortation, Farewell. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Now may the ELOHIM of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our ADONAI YESHUA,
21 make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through YESHUA the Messiah, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
22 But I exhort you, brothers, endure the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words.
23 Know that our brother Timothy has been freed, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.
24 Greet all of your leaders and all the holy ones. The Italians greet you.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.

Jeremiah 1.,2:1-3

1                      \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\Jeremiah! \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:
2 to whom the word of YAHWEH came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.
3 It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, to the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, to the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.

4
\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Prophet Is Called. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

Now the word of YAHWEH came to me, saying,
5 “Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
6 Then I said, “Ah, ADONAI YAHWEH! Behold, I don’t know how to speak; for I am a child.”
7 But YAHWEH said to me, “Don’t say, ‘I am a child;’ for to whoever I shall send you, you shall go, and whatever I shall command you, you shall speak.
8 Don’t be afraid because of them; for I am with you to deliver you,” says YAHWEH!
9 Then YAHWEH put forth his hand, and touched my mouth; and YAHWEH said to me, “Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.
10 Behold, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.”
11 Moreover the word of YAHWEH came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”
12 Then YAHWEH said to me, “You have seen well; for I watch over my word to perform it.”
13 The word of YAHWEH came to me the second time, saying, “What do you see?” I said, “I see a boiling caldron; and it is tipping away from the north.”
14 Then YAHWEH said to me, “Out of the north evil will break out on all the inhabitants of the land.
15 For, behold, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north,” says YAHWEH; “and they shall come, and they shall each set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Judah.
16 I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, in that they have forsaken me, and have burned incense to other idol_gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands.
17 “You therefore put your belt on your waist, arise, and speak to them all that I command you. Don’t be dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them.
18 For, behold, I have made you this day a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.
19 They will fight against you; but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you,” says YAHWEH, “to deliver you.”

1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. ELOHIM's Case Against Israel. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.

The word of YAHWEH came to me, saying,
2 “Go, and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says YAHWEH, “I remember for you the kindness of your youth, the love of your weddings; how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
3 Israel was holiness to YAHWEH, the first fruits of his increase. All who devour him shall be held guilty. Evil shall come on them,”’ says YAHWEH!”
