7:12-to-end.
12 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Blessings of Obedience. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
It shall happen, because you
listen to these ordinances, and keep and do them, that YHWH your ELOHIM will
keep with you the covenant and the loving kindness which he swore to your
fathers:
13 and he will love you, and bless you, and
multiply you; he will also bless the fruit of your body and the fruit of your
ground, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your
livestock and the young of your flock, in the land which he swore to your
fathers to give you.
14 You shall be blessed above all peoples:
there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your livestock.
15 YHWH will take away from you all sickness;
and none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you know, he will put on you, but
will lay them on all those who hate you.
16 You shall consume all the peoples whom YHWH
your ELOHIM shall deliver to you; your eye shall not pity them: neither shall
you serve their gods; for that will be a snare to you.
17 If you shall say in your heart, “These
nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?”
18 you shall not be afraid of them: you shall
well remember what YHWH your ELOHIM did to Pharaoh, and to all Egypt;
19 the great trials which your eyes saw, and
the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, by
which YHWH your ELOHIM brought you out: so shall YHWH your ELOHIM do to all the
peoples of whom you are afraid.
20 Moreover YHWH your ELOHIM will send the
hornet among them, until those who are left, and hide themselves, perish from
before you.
21 You shall not be scared of them; for YHWH
your ELOHIM is in the midst of you, a great and awesome ELOHIM!
22 YHWH your ELOHIM will cast out those nations
before you by little and little: you may not consume them at once, lest the
animals of the field increase on you.
23 But YHWH your ELOHIM will deliver them up before
you, and will confuse them with a great confusion, until they be destroyed.
24 He will deliver their kings into your hand,
and you shall make their name to perish from under the sky: no man shall be
able to stand before you, until you have destroyed them.
25 You shall burn the engraved images of their
gods with fire. You shall not covet the silver or the gold that is on them, nor
take it for yourself, lest you be snared in it; for it is an abomination to
YHWH your ELOHIM!
26 You shall not bring an abomination into your
house, and become a devoted thing like it. You shall utterly detest it, and you
shall utterly abhor it; for it is a devoted thing.

Shabbat - Parasha Eikev - Reward.
Deuteronomy 8.
Deuteronomy
8.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Remember YHWH Your ELOHIM. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
You shall observe to do all the
commandment which I command you this day, that you may live, and multiply, and
go in and possess the land which YHWH swore to your fathers.
2 You shall remember all the way which YHWH
your ELOHIM has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might
humble you, to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would
keep his commandments, or not.
3 He humbled you, and allowed you to be hungry,
and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know;
that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but man lives
by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of YHWH!
4 Your clothing didn’t grow old on you, neither
did your foot swell, these forty years.
5 You shall consider in your heart that as a
man chastens his son, so YHWH your ELOHIM chastens you.
6 You shall keep the commandments of YHWH your
ELOHIM, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
7 For YHWH your ELOHIM brings you into a good
land, a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground water flowing into
valleys and hills;
8 a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig
trees and pomegranates; a land of olive trees and honey;
9 a land in which you shall eat bread without
scarceness, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron,
and out of whose hills you may dig copper.
10 You shall eat and be full, and you shall
bless YHWH your ELOHIM for the good land which he has given you.
11 Beware lest you forget YHWH your ELOHIM, in
not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I
command you this day:
12 lest, when you have eaten and are full, and
have built goodly houses, and lived therein;
13 and when your herds and your flocks
multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is
multiplied;
14 then your heart be lifted up, and you forget
YHWH your ELOHIM, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the
house of bondage;
15 who led you through the great and terrible
wilderness, with fiery serpents and scorpions, and thirsty ground where there
was no water; who brought you forth water out of the rock of flint;
16 who fed you in the wilderness with manna,
which your fathers didn’t know; that he might humble you, and that he might
prove you, to do you good at your latter end:
17 and lest you say in your heart, “My power
and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.”
18 But you shall remember YHWH your ELOHIM, for
it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant
which he swore to your fathers, as at this day.
19 It shall be, if you shall forget YHWH your
ELOHIM, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify
against you this day that you shall surely perish.
20 As the nations that YHWH makes to perish
before you, so you shall perish; because you wouldn’t listen to the voice of
YHWH your ELOHIM!

Peter 1.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Greeting the Faithful. .
2 Peter’s Second Letter! \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Simon Peter, a servant and
emissary of YESHUA the Messiah, to those who have obtained a like precious
faith with us in the righteousness of our ELOHIM and Savior, YESHUA the
Messiah:
2 Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the
knowledge of ELOHIM and of YESHUA our ADONAI,
3 seeing that his divine power has granted to us
all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who
called us by his own glory and virtue;
4 by which he has granted to us his precious
and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of
the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by
lust.
5 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Fruitful Growth in the Faith. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Yes, and for this very cause
adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and
in moral excellence, knowledge;
6 and in knowledge, self-control; and in
self-control patience; and in patience godliness;
7 and in godliness brotherly affection; and in
brotherly affection, love.
8 For if these things are yours and abound,
they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful to the knowledge of our ADONAI
YESHUA the Messiah.
9 For he who lacks these things is blind,
seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.
10 Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to
make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never
stumble.
11 For thus you will be richly supplied with
the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our ADONAI and Savior, YESHUA the
Messiah.
12 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Peter's Approaching Death. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Therefore I will not be negligent
to remind you of these things, though you know them, and are established in the
present truth.
13 I think it right, as long as I am in this
tent, to stir you up by reminding you;
14 knowing that the putting off of my tent
comes swiftly, even as our ADONAI YESHUA the Messiah made clear to me.
15 Yes, I will make every effort that you may
always be able to remember these things even after my departure.
16 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Trustworthy Prophetic Word.
.\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
For we did not follow cunningly
devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our ADONAI
YESHUA the Messiah, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 For he received from ELOHIM the Father honor
and glory, when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, “This is my
beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
18 We heard this voice come out of heaven when
we were with him on the holy mountain.
19 We have the more sure word of prophecy; and
you do well that you heed it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the
day dawns, and the morning star arises in your hearts:
20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of
Scripture is of private interpretation.
21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of
man: but holy men of ELOHIM spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

Wednesday
- Day 4 before Shabbat - Parasha Eikev - Reward.
Deuteronomy 9.
Deuteronomy
9.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Israel's Rebellions Reviewed. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Hear, Israel: you are to pass over
the Jordan this day, to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than
yourself, cities great and fortified up to the sky,
2 a people great and tall, the sons of the
Anakim, whom you know, and of whom you have heard say, “Who can stand before
the sons of Anak?”
3 Know therefore this day, that YHWH your
ELOHIM is he who goes over before you as a devouring fire; he will destroy
them, and he will bring them down before you: so you shall drive them out, and
make them to perish quickly, as YHWH has spoken to you.
4 Don’t say in your heart, after YHWH your
ELOHIM has thrust them out from before you, saying, “For my righteousness YHWH
has brought me in to possess this land;” because YHWH drives them out before
you because of the wickedness of these nations.
5 Not for your righteousness, or for the
uprightness of your heart, do you go in to possess their land; but for the
wickedness of these nations YHWH your ELOHIM does drive them out from before
you, and that he may establish the word which YHWH swore to your fathers, to
Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
6 Know therefore, that YHWH your ELOHIM doesn’t
give you this good land to possess it for your righteousness; for you are a
stiff-necked people.
7 Remember, don’t forget, how you provoked YHWH
your ELOHIM to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that you went forth out of
the land of Egypt, until you came to this place, you have been rebellious
against YHWH!
8 Also in Horeb you provoked YHWH to wrath, and
YHWH was angry with you to destroy you.
9 When I was gone up onto the mountain to
receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which YHWH made
with you, then I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights; I neither
ate bread nor drank water.
10 YHWH delivered to me the two tables of stone
written with the finger of ELOHIM; and on them were all the words which YHWH
spoke with you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire in the day of the
assembly.
11 It came to pass at the end of forty days and
forty nights, that YHWH gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the
covenant.
12 YHWH said to me, “Arise, get down quickly
from here; for your people whom you have brought out of Egypt have corrupted
themselves; they have quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded
them; they have made them a molten image.”
13 Furthermore YHWH spoke to me, saying, “I
have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people:
14 let me alone, that I may destroy them, and
blot out their name from under the sky; and I will make of you a nation
mightier and greater than they.”
15 So I turned and came down from the mountain,
and the mountain was burning with fire: and the two tables of the covenant were
in my two hands.
16 I looked, and behold, you had sinned against
YHWH your ELOHIM; you had made yourselves a molten calf: you had turned aside
quickly out of the way which YHWH had commanded you.
17 I took hold of the two tables, and cast them
out of my two hands, and broke them before your eyes.
18 I fell down before YHWH, as at the first,
forty days and forty nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water; because of
all your sin which you sinned, in doing that which was evil in the sight of
YHWH, to provoke him to anger.
19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot
displeasure, with which YHWH was angry against you to destroy you. But YHWH
listened to me that time also.
20 YHWH was very angry with Aaron to destroy
him: and I prayed for Aaron also at the same time.
21 I took your sin, the calf which you had
made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, grinding it very small, until it
was as fine as dust: and I cast its dust into the brook that descended out of
the mountain.
22 At Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibroth
Hattaavah, you provoked YHWH to wrath.
23 When YHWH sent you from Kadesh Barnea,
saying, “Go up and possess the land which I have given you;” then you rebelled
against the commandment of YHWH your ELOHIM, and you didn’t believe him, nor
listen to his voice.
24 You have been rebellious against YHWH from
the day that I knew you.
25 So I fell down before YHWH the forty days
and forty nights that I fell down, because YHWH had said he would destroy you.
26 I prayed to YHWH, and said, “ADONAI YHWH,
don’t destroy your people and your inheritance, that you have redeemed through
your greatness, that you have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
27 Remember your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob; don’t look to the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness,
nor to their sin,
28 lest the land you brought us out from say,
‘Because YHWH was not able to bring them into the land which he promised to
them, and because he hated them, he has brought them out to kill them in the
wilderness.’
29 Yet they are your people and your
inheritance, which you brought out by your great power and by your outstretched
arm.”

Deuteronomy 10.
Deuteronomy
10.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Second Pair of Tablets. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
At that time YHWH said to me, “Cut
two tables of stone like the first, and come up to me onto the mountain, and
make an ark of wood.
2 I will write on the tables the words that
were on the first tables which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.”
3 So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two
tables of stone like the first, and went up onto the mountain, having the two
tables in my hand.
4 He wrote on the tables, according to the
first writing, the ten commandments, which YHWH spoke to you on the mountain
out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and YHWH gave them to
me.
5 I turned and came down from the mountain, and
put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they are as YHWH
commanded me.
6 (The children of Israel traveled from Beeroth
Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar
his son ministered in the priest’s office in his place.
7 From there they traveled to Gudgodah; and
from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water.
8 At that time YHWH set apart the tribe of
Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of YHWH, to stand before YHWH to minister
to him, and to bless in his name, to this day.
9 Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance
with his brothers; YHWH is his inheritance, according as YHWH your ELOHIM spoke
to him.)
10 I stayed on the mountain, as at the first
time, forty days and forty nights: and YHWH listened to me that time also; YHWH
would not destroy you.
11 YHWH said to me, “Arise, take your journey
before the people; and they shall go in and possess the land, which I swore to
their fathers to give to them.”
12 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Essence of the Torah. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Now, Israel, what does YHWH your
ELOHIM require of you, but to fear YHWH your ELOHIM, to walk in all his ways,
and to love him, and to serve YHWH your ELOHIM with all your heart and with all
your soul,
13 to keep the commandments of YHWH, and his
statutes, which I command you this day for your good?
14 Behold, to YHWH your ELOHIM belongs heaven
and the heaven of heavens, the earth, with all that is therein.
15 Only YHWH had a delight in your fathers to
love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all peoples, as
at this day.
16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your
heart, and be no more stiff-necked.
17 For YHWH your ELOHIM, he is ELOHIM of gods,
and ADONAI of masters, the great ELOHIM, the mighty, and the awesome, who
doesn’t respect persons, nor takes reward.
18 He does execute justice for the fatherless
and widow, and loves the foreigner, in giving him food and clothing.
19 Therefore love the foreigner; for you were
foreigners in the land of Egypt.
20 You shall fear YHWH your ELOHIM; you shall
serve him; and you shall cling to him, and you shall swear by his name.
21 He is your praise, and he is your ELOHIM,
who has done for you these great and awesome things, which your eyes have seen.
22 Your fathers went down into Egypt with
seventy persons; and now YHWH your ELOHIM has made you as the stars of the sky
for multitude.

Friday
- Day 6 before Shabbat - Parasha Eikev - Reward.
Deuteronomy 11:1-25, 2 Peter 2.
Deuteronomy
11:1-25.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Love and Obedience Rewarded. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Therefore you shall love YHWH your
ELOHIM, and keep his instructions, and his statutes, and his ordinances, and
his commandments, always.
2 Know this day: for I don’t speak with your
children who have not known, and who have not seen the chastisement of YHWH
your ELOHIM, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his outstretched arm,
3 and his signs, and his works, which he did in
the midst of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land;
4 and what he did to the army of Egypt, to
their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Sea of Suf to
overflow them as they pursued after you, and how YHWH has destroyed them to
this day;
5 and what he did to you in the wilderness,
until you came to this place;
6 and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the
sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben; how the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed
them up, and their households, and their tents, and every living thing that
followed them, in the midst of all Israel:
7 but your eyes have seen all the great work of
YHWH which he did.
8 Therefore you shall keep all the commandment
which I command you this day, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the
land, where you go over to possess it;
9 and that you may prolong your days in the
land, which YHWH swore to your fathers to give to them and to their seed, a
land flowing with milk and honey.
10 For the land, where you go in to possess it,
isn’t as the land of Egypt, that you came out from, where you sowed your seed,
and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs;
11 but the land, where you go over to possess
it, is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water of the rain of the sky,
12 a land which YHWH your ELOHIM cares for: the
eyes of YHWH your ELOHIM are always on it, from the beginning of the year even
to the end of the year.
13 It shall happen, if you shall listen
diligently to my commandments which I command you this day, to love YHWH your
ELOHIM, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
14 that I will give the rain of your land in
its season, the former rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your
grain, and your new wine, and your oil.
15 I will give grass in your fields for your
livestock, and you shall eat and be full.
16 Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be
deceived, and you turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
17 and the anger of YHWH be kindled against
you, and he shut up the sky, so that there shall be no rain, and the land shall
not yield its fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which YHWH
gives you.
18 Therefore you shall lay up these my words in
your heart and in your soul; and you shall bind them for a sign on your hand,
and they shall be for symbols between your eyes.
19 You shall teach them your children, talking
of them, when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you
lie down, and when you rise up.
20 You shall write them on the door posts of
your house, and on your gates;
21 that your days may be multiplied, and the
days of your children, in the land which YHWH swore to your fathers to give
them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.
22 For if you shall diligently keep all this
commandment which I command you, to do it, to love YHWH your ELOHIM, to walk in
all his ways, and to cling to him;
23 then will YHWH drive out all these nations
from before you, and you shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than
yourselves.
24 Every place whereon the sole of your foot
shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness, and Lebanon, from the river,
the river Euphrates, even to the hinder sea shall be your border.
25 No man shall be able to stand before you:
YHWH your ELOHIM shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you on all the land
that you shall tread on, as he has spoken to you.
2
Peter 2.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Destructive Doctrines. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
But false prophets also arose
among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly
bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing
on themselves swift destruction.
2 Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a
result, the way of the truth will be maligned.
3 In covetousness they will exploit you with
deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their
destruction will not slumber.
4 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Doom of False Teachers. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
For if ELOHIM didn’t spare angels
when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and committed them to pits of
darkness, to be reserved for judgment;
5 and didn’t spare the ancient world, but
preserved Noah with seven others, a proclaimer of righteousness, when he
brought a flood on the world of the ungodly;
6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah
into ashes, condemned them to destruction, having made them an example to those
who would live ungodly;
7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was very
distressed by the lustful life of the wicked
8 (for that righteous man dwelling among them,
was tormented in his righteous soul from day to day with seeing and hearing
Torah-less deeds):
9 ADONAI knows how to deliver the godly out of
temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of
judgment;
10 but chiefly those who walk after the flesh
in the lust of defilement, and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they are
not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries;
11 whereas angels, though greater in might and
power, don’t bring a railing judgment against them before ADONAI.
12 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Depravity of False Teachers. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
But these, as unreasoning
creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in
matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be
destroyed,
13 receiving the wages of unrighteousness;
people who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime, spots and blemishes,
reveling in their deceit while they feast with you;
14 having eyes full of adultery, and who can’t
cease from sin; enticing unsettled souls; having a heart trained in greed;
children of cursing;
15 forsaking the right way, they went astray,
having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of
wrongdoing;
16 but he was rebuked for his own disobedience.
A mute donkey spoke with a man’s voice and stopped the madness of the prophet.
17 These are wells without water, clouds driven
by a storm; for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever.
18 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Deceptions of False Teachers. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
For, uttering great swelling words
of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those
who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;
19 promising them liberty, while they
themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by
whoever overcomes him.
20 For if, after they have escaped the
defilement of the world through the knowledge of ADONAI and Savior YESHUA the
Messiah, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the last state has become
worse for them than the first.
21 For it would be better for them not to have
known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the
holy commandment delivered to them.
22 But it has happened to them according to the
true proverb, “The dog turns to his own vomit again,” and “the sow that has
washed to wallowing in the mire.”

14 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. ELOHIM Will Remember Zion. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
But Zion said, “YHWH has forsaken
me, and ADONAI has forgotten me.”
15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that
she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget,
yet I will not forget you!
16 Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of
my hands; your walls are continually before me.
17 Your children make haste; your destroyers
and those who made you waste shall go forth from you.
18 Lift up your eyes all around, and see: all
these gather themselves together, and come to you. As I live,” says YHWH, “you
shall surely clothe yourself with them all as with an ornament, and dress
yourself with them, like a bride.
19 “For, as for your waste and your desolate
places, and your land that has been destroyed, surely now you shall be too
small for the inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up shall be far away.
20 The children of your bereavement shall yet
say in your ears, The place is too small for me; give place to me that I may
dwell.
21 Then you will say in your heart, ‘Who has
conceived these for me, since I have been bereaved of my children, and am
solitary, an exile, and wandering back and forth? Who has brought up these?
Behold, I was left alone; these, where were they?’”
22 Thus says ADONAI YHWH, “Behold, I will lift
up my hand to the nations, and set up my banner to the peoples; and they shall
bring your sons in their bosom, and your daughters shall be carried on their
shoulders.
23 Kings shall be your nursing fathers, and
their queens your nursing mothers: they shall bow down to you with their faces
to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am
YHWH; and those who wait for me shall not be disappointed.”
24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or
the legal captives be delivered?
25 But thus says YHWH, “Even the captives of
the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be
delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save
your children.
26 I will feed those who oppress you with their
own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine:
and all flesh shall know that I, YHWH, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the
Mighty One of Jacob.”
Haftarah: Isaiah 50.,51:1-3.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Servant, Israel's Hope. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Thus says YHWH, “Where is the bill
of your mother’s divorce, with which I have put her away? or which of my
creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities were you
sold, and for your transgressions was your mother put away.
2 Why, when I came, was there no man? when I
called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it can’t
redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I
make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink, because there is no water, and
die for thirst.
3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I
make sackcloth their covering.”
4 ADONAI YHWH has given me the tongue of those
who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary: he
wakens morning by morning, he wakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.
5 ADONAI YHWH has opened my ear, and I was not
rebellious, neither turned away backward.
6 I gave my back to the strikers, and my cheeks
to those who plucked off the hair; I didn’t hide my face from shame and
spitting.
7 For ADONAI YHWH will help me; therefore I
have not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know
that I shall not be disappointed.
8 He is near who justifies me; who will bring
charges against me? Let us stand up together: who is my adversary? Let him come
near to me.
9 Behold, ADONAI YHWH will help me; who is he
who shall condemn me? Behold, all they shall wax old as a garment, the moth
shall eat them up.
10 Who is among you who fears YHWH, who obeys
the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness, and has no light, let him
trust in the name of YHWH, and rely on his ELOHIM!
11 Behold, all you who kindle a fire, who adorn
yourselves with torches around yourselves; walk in the flame of your fire, and
among the brands that you have kindled. You shall have this of my hand; you
shall lie down in sorrow.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. YHWH Comforts Zion. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
“Listen to me, you who follow
after righteousness, you who seek YHWH: look to the rock you were cut from, and
to the hold of the pit you were dug from.
2 Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who
bore you; for when he was but one I called him, and I blessed him, and made him
many.
3 For YHWH has comforted Zion; he has comforted
all her waste places, and has made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert
like the garden of YHWH; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving,
and the voice of melody.

Peter 3.
1 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. ELOHIM's Promise Is Not Slack. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
This is now, beloved, the second
letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere
mind by reminding you;
2 that you should remember the words which were
spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandments of us, the emissaries
of ADONAI and Savior:
3 knowing this first, that in the last days
mockers will come, walking after their own lusts,
4 and saying, “Where is the promise of his
coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as
they were from the beginning of the creation.”
5 For this they willfully forget, that there
were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water, by
the word of ELOHIM;
6 by which means the world that then was, being
overflowed with water, perished.
7 But the heavens that now are, and the earth,
by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day
of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
8 But don’t forget this one thing, beloved,
that one day is with ADONAI as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one
day.
9 ADONAI is not slow concerning his promise, as
some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should
perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. The Day of YHWH. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
But the day of ADONAI will come as
a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise,
and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the
works that are in it will be burned up.
11 Therefore since all these things will be
destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and
godliness,
12 looking for and earnestly desiring the
coming of the day of ELOHIM, which will cause the burning heavens to be
dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
13 But, according to his promise, we look for
new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
14 \Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnestLOW”\. Be Steadfast. .\Vce=Speaker=“LeslieEarnest”\.
Therefore, beloved, seeing that
you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without blemish
and blameless in his sight.
15 Regard the patience of our ADONAI as
salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given
to him, wrote to you;
16 as also in all of his letters, speaking in
them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to
understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the
other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 You therefore, beloved, knowing these things
beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you
fall from your own steadfastness.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our
ADONAI and Savior YESHUA the Messiah. To him be the glory both now and forever.
Amen.
Isaiah
51:4-11.
4
“Attend to me, my people; and give ear to me, my nation: for a Torah (teaching
and instruction) shall go forth from me, and I will establish my justice for a
light of the peoples.
5 My righteousness is near, my salvation is
gone forth, and my arms shall judge the peoples; the islands shall wait for me,
and on my arm shall they trust.
6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on
the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth
shall wax old like a garment; and those who dwell therein shall die in the same
way: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be
abolished.
7 “Listen to me, you who know righteousness,
the people in whose heart is my Torah (teaching and instruction); don’t fear
the reproach of men, neither be dismayed at their insults_.
8 For the moth shall eat them up like a
garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool; but my righteousness shall be
forever, and my salvation to all generations.”
9 Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of YHWH;
awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn’t it you
who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster?
10 Isn’t it you who dried up the sea, the
waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed
to pass over?
11 The ransomed of YHWH shall return, and come
with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy shall be on their heads. They shall
obtain gladness and joy. Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
